Jones unlikely to take Gane down and hold him there. Jones doesn't have Ngannou strength.

Jon is more skilled though. Gane is going to have to be better than he was against Francis to win this; that's all there is too it. I am thinking he will be much better prepared for a ground attack than he was against Francis.

Didn't need? He's been out for three years with no serious payday. I'm pretty sure he needs a fight. In fact, I think his biggest payday is a huge motivation for him.

Jon has enough money that he doesn't have to fight anymore. I know during his off time he talked about finishing college and restarted classes. Idk if he finished.

But Jon said he was making about 5 mil a fight for a while and he has over 10 title fights. Money isn't one of the things Jon worries about. Especially living in New Mexico. Cost of living compared to other places has to be low.

It's gona ne hard for Jones. Exactly what I been saying. Nganou is strong as an oxe. Nerds on Sherdog can't relate to athletic activity. This isn't LHW. Gane isn't Shogun. He is a true HW. I'll be surprised If Jones wins. Especially if Jones does good in the stand up.

Only way I see Jones scoring is if he got so strong that he can manhandle Gane with superior grappling technique. Or it becomes a Messy fight and Jones can clinch and take down, he got a big heart.

Gane is a true HW. Jones got chicken legs.


I think Jones will fail here. I see him being top 10 at HW but think Gane gonna stop him with kicks and punches.

Wrong, Jon isn't hurting for money. He didn't need this fight.
 
The threat of Ngannou's power in his hands helps him a lot with the takedown, something Jones doesn't have.

Goats do what goats do, I expect Jones to look like a killer or he wouldn't be back. He's ego driven and legacy driven and surrounded by a good staff. He's gonna smoke gane.

Jones won the Gus fight with that giant elbow in the 4th or the 5th. But you are correct in your assessment of the reyes fight being a bullshit decision.

Yeah and once he gets elbows and knees in his face then what? You forgot what Gus and Reyes did to him? Multiply that by 10 and you’ve got Gane. I just don’t understand how underrated Gane is !

Jon is gonna get outclassed so badly and go on his bicycle ride and then eye gouge Gane so badly to stop the fight as long as he doesn’t get embarrassed. The Reyes fight showed that an athletic fighter can beat Jon and Gane is way more athletic than Reyes and more technical
