Gane is better than Jones in standup, but nowhere else, Jones better in clinch, grappling, gnp and Submission.

I am not sure if Jones wins but he for sure has a good chance to win.

Jones is of course one of the GOATs but I think top-level HWs (Francis, Ciryl, and possible even Stipe) will be too big against him.

MWs can go up to LHW and find success (Anderson, Santos, Smith), but LHW to HW is too big a hurdle for most (see Maldonado v Miocic - granted worst Jones is still lightyears better than Maldonado on his best day ever).

Jones could barely hold Reyes down, who knows how his strength will be when he has to wrestle full on heavyweights? If you think Jon can improve in certain areas in his move to heavyweight, you should give the same chance to Gane to improve his wrestling after Ngannou taught him a lesson. I'm pretty sure he's put serious work into improving after he got handled there.

Jones at his absolute dire in need of dick pills state is a better wrestler than Big Frank. He has infinitely more trips and throws and offensive in your constant head tactics. Trying to erase the fact Jones has been a proven wrestler his whole career due to mediocre wrestling against Reyes which actually won him the fight is plain ol hate

If Jones does actually come back there is no way he sticks around long enough to do a Gane fight. Jones is in for 1 or 2 fights tops.

Yeah he will be a tad slower which Gane was never as fast as Jones so that’s negotiable. He will also be older so not as spectacular. He will most certainly gameplan the hell out of Gane and fight an extremely smart fight showing Gane sme things that will absolutely make him think twice

A newbie wrestler in Ngannou did some damage don't be ridiculous...Jones would take him down with ease. Only Ngannou would stand a chance in the stand up vs Gane, i think Jon knows that aswell so he will utilize the wrestling.

Jones was taking people down in the beginning of his career. You know why he stopped? He has a shitty top game. He would waste a lot of energy for nothing, most guys would immediately get up, he was in the risk of getting subbed. There is a reason why Jones is mostly a striker with great wrestling defense and not an offesnive wrestler. Where was this offensive wrestling when he was getting pierced up by Gus?

I think Gane beats Jones btw

Gane will probably fight Ngannou if he is ready. If not, then I would expect Blaydes. Jon hasn't fought in almost 3 years. I don't really care who wins against him until he signs to fight and then steps in the ring.
