Rumored Jones - Gane did 1 million PPV-buys

Is Jones UFC’s biggest draw outside of Conor?

His fight history suggests he isn't a regular draw at that level, but this being a come back and a new weight title fight etc could certainly have boosted it up to that level, sounds possible

THIS

It’s at least a possibility

If it did over 1 million, it's even more impressive considering it wasn't PPV everywhere that the Conor fights usually are.

Honestly, in the UK, I'd have bought that one.

I'm not sure why it was free.

Not surprised, this fight was actually heavily promoted. I was hearing ads on it throughout the day and seeing it promoted everywhere. If they do this for more PPV fights they would have higher PPV numbers as well.

You had me at Ali. Not saying it's not true, but it's questionable given how he would benefit from it. It's similar to how questionable it is when Jake Paul claims his fights always do big numbers.
Jake Paul's numbers are not big claims. He hasn't said he's sold over a millilon. His numbers are pretty accurate so far. They were in the low hundred thousand range but his recent fight with Fury was on the higher end. The 2nd Woodley fight tanked and he even talked about the low numbers of that fight.

That idiot Ngannou could have got the biggest pay day of his career if he'd stuck around to fight Jones. Now he's realising he doesn't have much negotiating power in the boxing world and his naive management team have screwed him over.
He's still going to get the biggest payday of his career. More than what he would have got for that fight so Ngannou is fine.

I was expecting somewhere between 700-850k. I’m pleasantly surprised, Jon Jones usually doesn’t pull 1 million PPV buys.
Jones vs Stipe should hit 1.2 million if not more.

Conor was in attendance and also involved in various ways.

A lot of people got the PPV just to possibly see him sitting near the octagon.

Fucking lol at 1 mil PPV buys.

Not a chance it did those numbers. Good lord you guys are gullible.

Yeah, who from? They don't exactly seem to be queuing up with offers.

The embedded videos are all over 1m views. Jons return was a big deal and garnered a lot of interest. I wouldn't be surprised at all if hit 1m buys.

I understand it Jones first fight back at new weight class coming off 3 year hiatus from the sport.

Crazy to see how people in here are literally furious about this lol

Most people just dont care about the UFC and come on here to piss and moan about every little thing, ive never understood that mentality.

Dana was talking about it being a really high PPV for what that's worth. With all teh hype surrounding Jones' return & not many PPV Kingz out there anymore with that kind of pulling power, I could see teh starved casualz breaking big on buyz.
