1 million is possible, but i doubt it. I don't think it was bigger than Jones DC 2, but i could be wrong

Where did you get those numbers?

Another concern is that prior to teh sale of UFC... we only knew teh PPV number "for sure" after bank loan info came out quarterly... but anything past the sale of the UFC is now hidden in teh corporate structure.

So we don't know the numbers any more outside of estimating internet traffic reports, which Dave Meltzer was fantastic at estimating pretty close to the official numbers that came out later. I'm curious to see how they get those "post-sale" numbers.

The UFC has constantly bullshitted about how successful a PPV is, to make it seem like they were on top of things and make it seem like they are more popular then they really are.

You think a million people paid to see a flabby Jones come back after 3 years and fight Gane ?

This was easily one of the most hyped cards in a long time for general casual fan that is for sure. Usually when that happens PPV number in past years have been reported very high(over 750K). You talk to people on here and there local BWW's or bars they went to watch were more packed than in a long time for a UFC PPV. Posters were talking about streaming services going down because of so much traffic that they haven't experienced in a long time. Media guys and fans were talking about how they have been getting alot more questions asked about this upcoming event than they seen in a long time. None of this real raw numbers but history has shown when this type of buzz is being created the PPV's usually have sold very well.
