The pad work was barely serviceable, not like super smooth padwork really matters all that much honestly.

He's gonna be a handful as is, don't fuck him up by making him believe he's got lethal hands like what happened to Ronda and Belal.

Agreed, but I'll give it a bit of a pass seeing as how American wrestlers have been abysmal in MMA the last few years

HW has been a shitshow in the UFC since the Stipe DC trilogy took 3 years to complete, all while Francis slept 4 opponents in under a round combined. Then he beat Gane and left, and its been on life support ever since.

We need something lmao. People will hate on Gable bc of his link to Jon. That's just the reality unfortunately

Such a dumb statement .... We have no idea what he's going to do. We don't know how long from now he even be facing legit competition. By the time he reaches the UFC and gets to the top you have absolutely no idea who will still be at the top. He's a 25 year old hw. He might not fight for a title for like 5-7 more years. You have no idea what'll happen with him. No one does.

He is a future UFC HW champ. I think many people don’t realize just how important of a prospect this is for HW mma especially at just 25 years old. Get on board the train and watch as he runs his competition the fuck over. He is going down as a great in this sport.

Elite athleticism
KO power
Serviceable boxing (that will only improve)
Coached by multiple combat sport GOAT’s

May have fought “taxi drivers” but displayed cage generalship and poise far beyond his in cage level. Is stringing his striking to takedowns and passes together fucking flawlessly already. Also his GnP looks hellacious. Guy is going to be a BIG problem for everyone in his way.

His wrestling alone is God-tier compared to the rest of the Heavyweights.

Who can stop his wrestling?

He just needs average striking, mixed with his excellent wrestling and he's already a problem for the entire division.

Even he is confused. First it's all hype no substance, then but if he does win, he isn't. 🙄

I'm not saying he's going to be the goat. But the potential is there because let's be honest, HW is weak and there are no good young prospects. I think in 5 years or so, gane, Aspinall, Volkov, almedia, Pavlovich, blaydes and Lewis will all be aged out. We don't even know what division he'd be fighting in. In 5 years, valter walker, Waldo Cortez Acosta will maybe still be around.

There is reason enough to dislike Gable based on his own history. No surprise he chose to ally himself with Jones.
