Honestly Jones could easily take him down and win. It is hard to say though never seen alex vs a pure wrestler grappler (not that's what Jones is but he can mix it up with the best). Ankaleave vs alex is the fight to tell us otherwise.

Either way this run has been incredible and if this fight ever happens I'm 100% rooting pereira.

Dana's got a narrative to write, and that narrative is "Jon Jones is the greatest of all time". He's going to feed Jones a washed up and tired Miocic to write that final chapter, and that'll be that.

Jones may be many things, but stupid is NOT one of them.

He's got the kind of cunning intelligence I see with business savants. He's slightly charming, but underneath it all, there's a reptile looking to always get one over on his fellow man. This is to say that Jones is smart enough to know that a fight with Pereira is inadvisable on a legacy and physical level.

I doubt Jones even leaves the first round with how strong Pereira's striking is.
