Pereira will KO Jones

Stipe landed three or four isolated effective punches on Jones in the entire fight, none of which drew a significant reaction, none of which snapped the neck, and none of which was an uppercut. The announcers did twice say "nice uppercut by Stipe" on shots that clearly didn't land well or at all (one was blocked before reaching Jon's head--the camera angle was bad, so it might have hit him in the upper chest, but Jon's head was in frame the whole time and Stipe's fist never made it into frame, with both of Jon's arms in position to prevent the punch from getting through--and one that very clearly whiffed and came up in front of Jon's face).

Three or four moderately effective isolated punches over nearly three rounds isn't "landing on."

That doesn’t mean he can’t get clipped & credit to Alex for the callout & for his last performance but even at his age Jones is a pretty mad matchup for Pereira

No he didn't. Alex went for a failed hip toss and Izzy landed on top. Jones couldn't even take down Reyes or Santos and Alex has since shown god like TDD against a wrestler in Ankalaev who failed 13/13 takedowns and even got swept.

Yes he did. It’s at 17:50. Took him down then took his back. Counted as a takedown in the stats & you can even hear DC say “Adesanya with a beautiful takedown!”

You don’t think it should count thats cool but in every technical sense Izzy took Alex down

Alex also took Izzy down at the end of the second round. And it still only happened because Alex tried going for a hip toss instead of proper TDD. He hasn't made this mistake since and has shown great TDD improvement. Like DC asked Islam, why hasn't anyone taken him down and won yet if it's so easy? It's a terrible take now
 
Jones will never agree to that fight.

He doesn't like to fight guys with devastating one-punch KO power. Hence why he refused to become a HW until Francis was gone.

Rampage is about the hardest puncher he's ever faced, and he went into full eye-poke mode to keep himself safe.

But referees are more aware of the eye-poking criticism now so I don't see him getting away with it against Poatan.

Jones is not fighting again for the UFC. Even if he did he looks in terrible shape by his standards, he physically looks exactly like what he is, a retired man.

No, unfortunately. I would like to see it but Jones would drag him to the ground and submit him.

Jones couldn't even take down Reyes or Santos and he's supposed to easily beat Alex? gtfo. Gane has never even been a champ or a serious fighter. Alex has beaten 6 UFC champs. Terrible take after starching Ankalaev and stopping 13 takedowns in first figh.
