Jon Jones' insane body scissor takedown

I was reading the typical takedowns in wrestling and BJJ (I had done it earlier, though I was searching for videos on which it resembled this one). This isn't a classic BJJ or wrestling takedown it seems.

Jon jumps onto his opponent’s torso from behind or from the side and then his legs kinda clamp around the opponent's midsection, in a motion similar to a rear body triangle (I guess) or closed guard from the back standing position. Then his upper body is pulling slightly backwards, while the sparring opponent is forced to a squat like position probably to adjust to the sudden load.

Then when JJ leans back, the opponent's center of gravity is pulled off balance. The leg clamp acts kinda like a lever, while Jon shifts his weight and uses core strength + momentum to force the rotation and fall. Curiously is that it lifts the opponent, like his throw lifted Miocic off the ground as well... JJ seems to have practiced other takedown methods other than the standard double leg.

Based off the sacrificed throw definition, this one looks maybe like a modified sacrifice throw, where Jon sacrifices his own balance momentarily to execute a controlled takedown using both legs and momentum.

Or maybe even a flashy judo-style sacrifice throw adapted for MMA...?

Interestingly though, It’s kind of similar in feel to the banned kani basami (scissor takedown), except done from behind and onto the torso, not directly to the legs. But tbh informally, body scissor takedown makes sense, as it had the legs wrapped around the sparring partner's body, which finished with a takedown.

Keep the good work OP.

Jones lives rent free in their heads. Very similar to Trump Derrangement Syndrome.

True. Somehow Jon Jones turns adult men into little school girls on here. The only other case as bad as this was Mayweather in boxing.

When a fighter they hate is undefeated for so many damn years the PTSD makes them foam from the mouth the second they hear the name.

Signed copy of bout agreement by Jones side? No? So no proof either side had agreed to the fight then.
nganou leaving isnt a sign?
they where negotiating but he left?

what if jones left and wouldnt fight tom?

Reminds me of that fancy Steven Seagal throw Machida hit on Nakamura…

Just not as sexy.

LMAO Ngannou leaving because he wanted to box and knew he could get a big payday that way...you think that's a sign that Jones had signed a bout agreement???

Dude...you gotta get a clue here.

Isnt that Jon’s partner who brings buckets of fried chicken to eat before training?

I bet Jon does all sorts of silly shit to him at practice. Keeps Jons confidence at all-time high. But thats what keeps Jon going too.

Yep time to add bro to the ignore list

Too much Jon Jones dicksucking and 3000 word salad college essays that make my eyes bleed
Definitely adding this dumb-ass to the ignore list. I can't imagine what your life must look like to have so much time and energy dedicated to posting endless amounts of bullshit to the internet.

Wait, don't mix up "sad life" when it's coming from someone with more than 13,000 posts like you, who are just salty because not everyone sees a reason to join the "let's make up all sort of stuff to show JJ is overrated as a fighter and then hold hands together to vent our frustrations!!!" club... I'm here because I like UFC and more still, legendary fighters who keep winning, to the point I find interesting to watch those fighters, observe certain techniques, tactics in videos breakdowns... Which I am still in the very beginning process of learning ofc, but that in itself makes it way more interesting to me.

The fact you have to "imagine a kind of life someone has" to further vent your frustrations at someone's opinions on JJ's fighting abilities shows this "sad life" card is both an attempt to vent this frustrated side of yours and a projection of your own life instead. I'm really good in life, just so you know... I don't get really annoyed to the point you guys get, like, annoyed to the point I flat out ignore direct stuff, informations and perspectives that are interesting to me and to share to see others opinions. But that, to some of you, is such a huge blow to the "fuck JJ!!" club, it seems it must hurt even... That's typically when the "what kind of lives they have???" posters get overly emotional, by mentioning "ban", I'll add to ignore!!", childish talks. Maybe the irl stuff you have going on is tamed by finding one small thing you hate, but that has an echo chamber you can mask other stuff from your life...

It's abundantly clear you are "in the very beginning process of learning" what's actually happening inside the cage. And that's fine, there's nothing wrong with that. The problem is that you fangirl SO incredibly hard for someone like Jones, you forget that you don't know nearly as much as plenty of others and you attempt to speak as some sort of unflinching voice of authority. Utterly unwilling to bend on your views, sometimes on absolutely comical takes. (Such as passionately arguing over and over that Stipe off an almost 4 year layoff looked great and it's a really legit and terrific win for Jones.) Like, it's fine Jon fought Stipe. Legacy fight, okay...no problem. Jones was a -600 favorite for a reason though. And he's an underdog to Aspinall for a reason. Yet you, even while admitting how green you are at this, can't help yourself from digging in your heels and looking stupid.

His bout agreement was with Cyril Gane not Ngannou because they announced it the very same day Frank's contract expired. Pretty obvious what was going on
