News Jon Jones ducks UK journalist because he thinks he might ask Aspinall questions

I mean he's right

Those brits Adam (and that other dude) are the biggest British nuthuggers ever and are always only capable of seeing stuff from the UK perspective and I'm not talking about this situation I'm talking about any situation

Well he certainly showed he's not ducking Tom by refusing to be interviewed by someone from the same country as him.

They should agree on the questions but refusing interviews from UFC international broadcasters is quite unprofessional
Those guys are not influencers or boosting a Youtube channel

they do have heir youtube page where they talk shop tho

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

he doesn't want to answer 12 questions in a row about why he's not fighting Aspinall

is that so hard to get?
You realize Jones has made it harder on himself as far as media goes right?

He could've just stfu or say something like "Im focused on Stipe now". Instead he went out of his way to explain why Tom doesn't deserve to breath the same air as him.

He answered a bunch of Aspinall questions at the presser where he backtracked the deserving comment. Lets remember he's fighting Stipe in a couple of days and probably rather focuses on that.

Yeah that would've made you shertards stfu about him. If he said that you would've gone after him even more lol.

Or I don't know how about the UFC and Jon Jones give the interim champion clarity on where things go after the fight. I know it sounds crazy but Jones/Aspinall is the main reason this fight week is interesting. People don't really care about Jones/Stipe on paper. Also, it's not that insane to get Aspinall questions when Aspinall is actually the backup fighter if Stipe or Jones pulls out.

Yep but TNT Sports / BT Sports (or whatever their name is) is paying the UFC to broadcast the event and is paying those dudes to create content to promote the broadcasting in their region
And the UFC is paying Jon Jones

If he said what?

The Jones duck saga really blew up about a week ago when he did that Kevin Iole interview. There's even a megathread because of it.

This is seriously becoming the worst duck in MMA history. Jon makes it worse for himself on a daily basis with the way hes handling things. I think it could have been possible for Jon to retire without this being too strongly attached to his legacy if he'd handled things differently, but theres no way now. At this point he'd be better off just taking the fight win or lose rather than shamelessly ducking like this.

That makes sense but why should fans and media actually care about this fight? No one has seen or asked for Stipe in 4 years except Jon and the UFC.

If they don't care then they don't care, it's fine.
