That fight was...... odd.

I was sure Hendricks won.
Even the body language of both fighters said so (just look at the pic).

Then the judges (IMHO) fucked up as usual. Biased towards a dominant champion.
The asinine "to be the champion you gotta beat the champion".
The belt is on the line, meaning neither are champion while they fight for the belt. Bias shouldn't exist!

But that is not only towards GSP. It happened with Jon just months before (against Gus), or Machida (against Rua) and plenty other times.

Those who disagree are probably just biased or simply dishonest with an agenda towards their preferred fighter.

I am Canadian, & even if GSP lost that decision, I still believe he's the GOAT. Having said that, I was watching it in Toronto & every single 1 of us at that restaurant (probably 100 people), thought in that moment, that GSP had lost. I"m not saying if I rewatched it, if I would've come to a different conclusion or not, but at the end of the fight, people were either silent or saying stuff like "can't believe GSP lost", etc. There was no one in that restaurant who thought GSP was gonna get the decision.

Round 2 and 4 were clear for Hendricks

Round 3 and 5 were clear for GSP

First round was close.

I gave it to GSP and did not get the backlash

I was rooting hard for Hendricks because I couldn't stand boring GSP, and I was pissed when Johny decided to coast that last round. He had it won and gave it away.

So I don't care to hear about how he was robbed. He made the same dumb mistake De La Hoya made against Trinidad.

Also lots of this. Between this and his inability to have self control outside of the cage why would anyone feel sorry for him? Johnny maybe could have been one of the best, but he never had enough conviction to truly prove it. And as I mentioned above, hoooooboy was shit suspect once they started random testing him and he was no longer able to make weight, or even perform remotely good at all.
