That's terrible, I really feel for you. I'm guessing you found his VHS porn collection on the top shelf of his closet, and he wasn't amusedMy father bought our VCR system in the early 90's because he thought it would make us kids weak. Then he used all of our cassettes for sport. Great guy if you ask me!
Walking in a movie store is more like walking in a library looking for something interesting. Very relaxing and effortless. This is actually one of few places where VR could be a good thing if it did not take all of our $. Trying it.It's like, even though browsing through something like Netflix gives you all of the same info as the box at a video store, it isn't the same. I'd always check out the back of the box and read what was there, I don't tend to really do it when I stream, not really sure why.
I've kinda fallen back from piracy, mostly (fuck you, Dana), but it's really due to not having a desktop to make it as practical to store stuff. I'm sure there will come a day when I remedy that (keep up your prices, Netflix). I still do books from time to time, but if I find I'm enjoying them I usually will buy them. I've gotten to the point where, if I'm really enjoying something like music or books, I will try to support the creators. I'm still hesitant to give Warner Media and the like my money for an album, but I will go to the band's site and buy merchandise from them directly. Kinda a thank you for creating something that makes my life enjoyable.
Not sure what I'd do without music, in particular. During a work day, if I'm not at my desk, I can't hear anyone, bc I have buds in my ears at all times. Suffice to say that when I was locked up, my life was in shambles.
No we had to go to one of my friends houses for that. That's terrible, I really feel for you. I'm guessing you found his VHS porn collection on the top shelf of his closet, and he wasn't amused
books is the only thing I don't cheapskate on. I don't like reading books on a digital screen, feels weird and tiring. I feel ya on the artists...I will just go to a concert to support them. I do everything on desktop, I haven't had a TV in 13 years, it has no use for me. I rarely go to the movies these days, a huge majority of movies are trash, and I can watch em 2 days later online for free. It's like, even though browsing through something like Netflix gives you all of the same info as the box at a video store, it isn't the same. I really need to look into whether I can add storage to my TV. They're essentially computers these days, but I have it in mind that they're a bit limited. But they have web browsers on them, and, to a degree, you can do some of the same things with them that you would a desktop. I've never even checked to see how much storage is on it. I think that, if I can figure out whether it is compatible with an external storage device, I might be in business and not really need a desktop.books is the only thing I don't cheapskate on. you can do that with the TVs for sure. You can actually hack the TV, and make it custom to what you need it. Delete all the crap on it, and just leave what you need, get a nice wireless keyboard and you in da game.I really need to look into whether I can add storage to my TV. The last movie I saw in a theater was Godzilla Minus One (three times, one of them in B&W), but that is about the only thing I've been willing to pay $20 or whatever to go see. That's less about not enjoying movies in a theater, and more about people need to leash and muzzle their fucking kids ffs
In order to make this happen, would one require a desktop, you think? Bc, if not, I might look into this. The firmware on it is assyou can do that with the TVs for sure. I believe most smart TVs can run Android OS, so if you didn't want to just get a cheap PC/notebook and attach it via HDMI to your TV, you can just run that on your TV and have a mini desktop via that. Most smart TVs nowdays have an SSD installed, but obviously will depend on your model etc. There is always a way to upgrade firmware to a more stripped down, faster etc version that gets rid of the lot of bloat(root/jailbreak tools will be needed), but I haven't done it myself yet, cause I don't have a TV; but its out thereIn order to make this happen, would one require a desktop, you think? I really appreciate the info. I hadn't really considered doing it with my TV, but I've done it before with MP3 players and tablets and whatnot. There is so much unnecessary bullshit on this TV that I would love switching up the firmware on it. Would probably run hella faster.I believe most smart TVs can run Android OS, so if you didn't want to just get a cheap PC/notebook and attach it via HDMI to your TV, you can just run that on your TV and have a mini desktop via that. You can't 'meh' reality. Size is an actual thing. It's not a statement, or an opinion or a feeling.
I know that this may be a difficult concept for many Shitdoggers to grasp.
Islam ain't got time for this nonsense. He cares about legacy
Yes and no. Yes, Islam is clearly bigger than Ilia (and was bigger than Max).
The "no" part is more that in general you can't really just say "so and so used to fight at _____" and think that's the full story on their size. Oliveira spent a lot of his career as a sucked out 145er until he grew a brain and realized that's not his "size". And now he looks like a massive LW. Poirier was a FW too, nobody thinks he's a small LW. Plenty of other examples.
