Speaking of things I already said ITT, I pointed out that successful theories like your examples above make predictions that can be verified experimentally. The big bang is one such. E.g. it predicted the cosmic microwave background (CMB).

It's a point that is either deliberately ignored or flies right over the head of people ITT saying it's just a guess and no more likely than any other attempt to explain the current state of the universe. It's not a matter of opinion, plain and simple.

I don't know which one either, and it is really strange and extremely ironic when the internet which we are all communicating over was built on QM and GR. How can anyone say "It's all just a guess" over the internet LOL!! If it was then we wouldn't be able to communicate like this.

Yeah I never said every theory is wrong. I don't know what to tell you if you can't see the difference in Newton's laws of motion (which are relatively easy to test) and the big bang theory, which has massive question marks. One is called a law and one is called a theory for a reason.

If you want to believe that the big bang theory is the truth, then go right ahead. The fact that you think you're making me look stupid for believing in a theory as a theory is pretty cute. They all have that devil in them and it is our job as parents and mentors to teach them to do the right thing. From the hundreds and hundreds of kids I’ve interacted with from ages 2-13 It is a constant battle to get them to do the right thing.

Thank you for serving the community, but no. I never had that in me. I realize you have come across children that have seen bad things and lash out. I lashed out inward and did my best not to hurt those that I love. It was never inside of me to inflict harm. When I have I carry it with me as a heavy reminder.

No. I can and do judge people for things that happened in the past I just don't see it as objective because morals can only ever really be subjective.

My position is that morals are something universal that humans can not change, and they are not decided by humans because humans can and have decided a lot of different and conflicting things throughout history. I believe there is an overarching truth and set of morals that cannot be changed on a whim by whatever humans happen to be in charge of how things are done.

It’s not that complicated- watch toddlers. If one has something the other wants, they’ll rip it out of their hands. They hit, bite, and pinch each other when they’re upset. All Kids steal and lie, I’m sure you were a rad little dude but I can’t believe you went your whole child hood without lying, stealing, or cheating
