Joe Rogan isnt sold on the Bing Bang theory finds Jesus resurrection more plausible

bible 1, science 0!

Was Jesus in-fact a lizard-man in disguise?!?

My eyes have been opened.. going to need to research this further...

There is empirical evidence that suggests something like the big bang.. I am not saying it is 100% true and they have it all figured out, but there is evidence that has been found that could suggest that

There is no evidence of miracles or of walking on water, or turning water in to wine.. all of that requires faith, not evidence.

It would be one thing if there was zero evidence of big bang and it was just all theorized and made up.. then you'd have a point. In that way, it would be similar to Jesus' miracles.
Dude keeps responding because he wants or needs his particular mythology to be true.

"I have a hard time believing science behind the bing bang theory, therefore my particular chosen mythology MUST be true."

Yeah I don't disagree with you.. I am also not always (depending on my mood) the type to throw it in people's faces either though.

There is nothing wrong with faith if it is a positive influence on your life.. just do not compare it to actual science.. ever.

OK, but the fact that there are planets and space does nothing to confirm the Big Bang theory, which claims that everything we see around us exploded into existence out of a tiny point smaller than a speck of dust, for no reason or purpose.

These people will ridicule miracles like Jesus walking on water, but they have no problem with the miracle of everything out of absolutely nothing, which to me seems like the most unlikely miracle of all.

Do you believe god created the entirety of the universe or just our bit? Could god have decided humans are a bit shit and created a better version of us on another planet somewhere?

Not trying to be a prick, genuinely interested in how people who follow an organised religion rationalise things.

What if we're the best version?

Well I guess biblically he noticed we were shit, then sent Noah to do a bit of a hard reset, then noticed we were shit again so send Jesus to try and convince us not to be shit in a nicer way but it's been a while since then so he's probably binned us off and moved onto the next version.

There could be even more retarded versions of us that he created before he came up with us though I suppose lmao.

Now I'm picturing god saying to himself "for fucks sake they're pointing weapons at each other again, guess I'll try somewhere else".

Could be all of those things, or none.

Religious people are not a monolith, I have no idea what others believe I can only speak for myself. I never claim to be a knower, I’m definitely a seeker and I’m open to all possibilities.
