And Biden pardoning his son is garbage. He also broke a promise he made. I don't like it. Two wrongs don't make a right. But it's also ludicrous to watch degenerate Trump supporters, absolutely desperate to make Trump above the law, and get away with all his crimes, complain about this.

Trump pardoned his son in law's father, who did some truly heinous shit, and is now making him ambassador to France. And that's pretty low on the list of Trump's endless scandals.

The other trials could have happened sooner, but Trump did everything he could to run out the clock and was greatly assisted by Aileen Cannon.

Not to mention, Trump was already fined tens of millions for scams with The Trump Foundation and Trump University, in 2017 and 2019. Was that Biden's fault too?

Criminal trials were targeted in 2024 by four different prosecutors.

If that was true charges would have been pressed in 2021, instead the prosecutors chose to press them in 2023 with targeted trial dates in 2024.

Terrible news for Americans. I had hoped he would have the integrity to do as he promised, but I can't say that I'm shocked that it didn't turn out that way. A president shouldn't be pardoning people they have a relationship to or someone where they have something to gain from it. Of course that especially means that they shouldn't be able to avoid legal persecution themselves either. That's a real violation of whatever trust people can have in the legal system, and their government.

Since Trump already pardoned people with personal or political ties to him normal Americans are yet again screwed by both sides.
