Prochazka didn’t market himself well to the audience. Despite his exciting fighting style and speaking English, he failed to connect with the audience in the mainstream market. He had some leverage when he held the belt. But without belt, nobody cares about Jiri. He’s a nobody now. It’s really sad to see his downfall, the shoulder injury derailed his career. Only 4 fights in 4 years. Where does Jiri go from here? His momentum has been completely halted. This is the story of the rise and fall of Jiri Prochazka

the point is theyre stacking up the 300 card. if Jiri is this low in the fight order, then hopefully they are alluding to even bigger matchups. if not, then it is disrespectful. far too early to tell.

Just being on that card is a massive deal.

Remember Bellator NYC / 180? When they had Ryan Bader vs Phil Davis as a title fight on the undercard?

This happens. Something like
UFC 300 is super elite tier being the best of the best anywhere on the card. Also, Jiri is still GOAT!!

source?

or <Deported1>

The only main card fight that doesnt involve title might be Khamzat vs Izzy. Maybe Gaethje but he has bmf fake title.
Its just going to be too crowded of a card to get into.
By original 200 standards the only non title main card fights were Brock-Hunt and Cain-Browne. Id say Jiri is on par with the Cain fight but Alex been out so long do people even remember him at this point?

He and his team agreed and signed. Pathetic.

If he brutally ko's Rakic he'll be straight back in the mix

Abit of an overreaction, Jiri will be fine

That’s where he needs to be. Prelims of the biggest card evrr.

It’s no fall.
It’s just a fight.

I swear you guys don’t understand anything

For someone who has a whole lot to say, you must not do very much reading. It’s well known by now that Dana made it a point that the prelim fights alone on 300 would be star studded fights. Your point is baseless, irrelevant, and foolish. Jiri is forever a champion. He will never be a nobody. Your opinion here is what is that of a nobody. Downfall… the man comes back after a severe shoulder injury to fight Poatan and was not even close to being completely taken out of the fight before it was stopped. Tony Ferguson is on a downfall. Not Jiri.

Depending on what the main card looks like, headlining the prelims can be a better deal.

Jiri will be champion again. He's a better mixed martial artist than the current champ in my opinion.
Jiri has eaten left hooks his entire career because he is hittable. If he fights Alex again who now has a feel for his unorthodox rhythm, i think it goes the same way or worse for Jiri.
Also OP, did you think that a prelim spot is his punishment for lack of marketability? It's the best way to build marketability, more people will watch you as the headliner of the prelims than at least the first three fights on the main card.
