Now here's a pretty somewhat funny story. My friend was at the gym and he was doing smith bench press. So I slipped a 25 lb on the right side. It was just classic seeing doing his lift after that. FIrst time, he tried 2 reps in half assed form. On his second attempt, I think he did one. I didn;t see his third attempt cause I decided to my exercise. OUt of nowhere, I see my friend power walking toward me and he just punching me in the arm. After that, we just started cracking up.

The end.

To this day, I'm amazed that no one was ever hurt in my high school weigh training classes. The only injury I ever saw was a dislocated finger that was caused by a football. With all the horseplay, pranks, and bad form, someone should have been killed.

It also amazes me that some people don't notice uneven weight right off. My buddies and I occasionally mistakenly put an incorrect plate on one side or the other and I can't help but notice as soon as I take the bar off the rack, whereas I've seen others do a set (or even two), without noticing anything (until I happen to look at both sides and notice).

I'm kind of picky about hand placement and the like, though. It's gotta be just right.

ok, ill do that just to shut you up. im not claiming to be the worlds greatest bencher, but i was a lot worse before i started doing partials. now id say im above average. your gonna feel a prick when i post the clip

whatever, stop lifting to show off how much weight you can move barely and lift for strength and function more. you can say everything under the sun but if you backed off on the weights to weight you could lift through a full range of motion you would get more out of it. as far as feeling like a prick, i won't till you post the vid so well let's see it.

why would i lift to show off? ive trained im my garage on my own since i was 12, and ive only had a trainin partener 18months.

are you kidding? you posted videos of your lifts on here bragging about the huge weight you can move and so far all the videos have proven is your in a war with the weasel for who can lift weights the worst. in my opinion you are both winning but for different reasons.

I haven't seen any DL vids with bad form that could put up that sort of weight. I would expect their backs to explode far sooner than 600 pounds (if they are weighing 148). How did those light guys do those sorts of weights? I want vids of these lifts too. THat just does not seem possible unless they were, I don't know, really really strong.
 
TL, DR...

Carnal, is that the same guy from the quarter-dip video? When do we get to see a 2" rack dead vid? Or some spotter assisted 5-board-press?

I'm pretty sure its a different guy dan. On another note, for shits and giggles I'm going to do 2 inch rack pulls with straps next time I'm at the gym and there aren't too many people around.

See what I can get. Gogo 800lbs...
