Just changed my vote from "suicide or murder both seem pretty possible" to "I suspect he was murdered". I could have done that a while ago, but I originally voted before more information had come out, and I hadn't bothered to change my vote until now.

Yeah the medical examiner ruling out murder generally has the effect of locking in people on an opinion of murder if that's what they had always wanted to believe anyway. It's very weird, you'd think that such strong evidence against your suspicions wouldn't result in you being even more confident in them, but that is how it goes for a lot of people, especially those who have major CT tendencies and extra especially those who have a usually-dormant antisemitism virus that flares up from time to time.

Gary webb is one of the best examples of fake news media manipulation and attacking those who bring the truth.

I still get triggered to this day thinking of him.

Did she actually rule it out or did she simply conclude it was suicide, even though the injuries he had are more commonly associated with strangulation and the circumstances of the conditions at the jail make them even less likely. A broad consensus of people on both the left and right think this is fishy AF. Also, I don't have any white guilt about historical anti-Semitism so that shit isn't going to work on me. The anti-Semitism card is a lot weaker than the racism card to me considering their comparative privilege and ability to pass as white. I've also historically been extremely skeptical about conspiracy theories and theorists in general, but this case has made conspiracy theorists of us all and with good reason. You can't take this shit at face value.
