That's the odds of a prisoner going into this facility and succesfully killing themselves.

The officials have the advantage of having the requisite evidence and expertise here. Also, all of the evidence is consistent with a suicide by hanging. I'm confident in this investigation in particular though, as the AG is white-hot-mad and breathing fire down their necks.

I sure as heck don't.

I am HOPEFUL that on this one Barr is in fact legit and doing the right one, but hopeful is the best word I can use with him due to his past willingness to do things, subvert and harm the DOJ and FBI to to provide cover for POTUS.

This is not me suggesting the POTUS needs cover here as I have stated up-thread that I actually think he is one of the lesser at risk of his behaviour with Epstein. Its more a comment of 'reservations' with Barr generally.

There doesnt seem to be an official word yet. I havent seen it reported the cameras were on or off. The cameras would be monitoring the hallways not the inside of the cell. If they were working and there was definitive footage of no one going to his cell during this time then I think it would be most logical to assume he did in fact pull this off himself.

But I haven't heard that footage exists yet

If the cameras were off that would be a huge red flag for me. Overworked guards missing rounds is one thing but if the cameras also didn't work it would be gross negligence on management's part and would make it hard to dispute this being a planned murder.

Yes, it can and does happen with hanging but you need the room and force to make it happen, something this cell may not have been able to provide.

However, these breaks are much more common in a strangulation. Much more. If you were to take the autopsy information and look at the probability, the most likely scenario, then it clearly shows strangulation.

Like I posted above, footage of the hallway to his cell during this time would certainly help the suicide claim if it was provable no one entered his cell.

I'd also like to see footage of when he was found and how that went down....

Shaun Atwood is a former stockbroker and then extasy kingpin he is from UK and banned from the US but he spent a lot of time in Arizona jail once he got caught as he was in business with the mexican cartels against jimmy the bull. Anyway he is talking about this case as folk are asking him about suicides in jail, and he mentioned a technique where you could roll off the bed and kill yourself that way. But it'sd a technique, so you need to be told how to do it and what knot to use etc and where to place it. It's like the rear naked choke looks easy but you stil need to learn how to apply it.

There's a big difference in his motivations. He covered for the president because he believes that's how the country should work- the all-powerful executive branch (although possibly only when a Republican is in). Here, on his watch (he's in charge of federal prisons) an important federal prisoner was lost due to negligence and he's going to bring hell until he gets his answers.

I don't think they know what official story they should spin yet, on the cameras. Last I heard, is that it was "unlikely" it caught any footage inside his cell. No reason as to why, and nothing said on any other footage within the vicinity of his cell, or where the cameras are located in that wing of the prison, or anything.

It's very odd that they can't just say what exactly the deal is with the cameras in that facility. I mean, it's not the hardest thing to explain, that would curb speculation. It's pretty much been radio silence on the cameras, which is odd, considering it's one of the more obvious questions people would have. They're being very coy and vague with that aspect.
