Suspicion is normal when a person who is potentially a witness in a super high profile crime or series of crimes comes up dead. A person would have to be out to lunch not to be a little suspicious. However, you take it too far, and you're slipping into fucktard land.

We know he was suicidal, which is (iirc) the bigliest predictor of near-term suicide. That is an argument against the murder suspicion, but the fucktards will take it as the opposite by doing a complicated breakdancing maneuver where his being suicidal and then killing himself must be the result of a complex criminal conspiracy (for which there is exactly zero evidence) because the suicidal person is watched more closely, meaning that it's somehow more likely that his successful suicide was murder. It's tortured logic.
