Clearly part of the reaction to the loss is due to how it was some odd circumstances where the fight was briefly stopped by Herb, then continued quickly, then Poatan stepped on Jamahal's foot while throwing the left hook. It was a slightly dirty KO imho even though it was technically according to the rules.

Not only is that an incredibly silly take, the restarting of action was fine and the foot step meant nothing.

As for the "odd circumstances," Hill is the one who began action again and had plenty of time to reset himself. There should have been nothing "odd" about it because they did start on the outside range again, and Hill threw out some measuring hands first AND threw the first punch. You can't pretend you're not ready when you're the one who went first.

And as for the foot, Hill wasn't trying to lift or move his foot and was even coming forward on his own strike first. AND Poatan took his foot off Hill's pretty much the second he landed on it, and before he punched him. It was entirely inconsequential, and to ignore that it came right after Hill's low blow and call  this dirty is utterly ridiculous
