Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson an Utter Scam/Sham

I really don't think Mike looked bad at all. He's 58 and clearly came in with some lower body injury. He actually looked pretty damn fast for the first round and a half, Jake predictably ran and Mike started to gas. His leg also started to act up it would seem. Even after the fact Mike slipped most of Jake's punches and the few that did land, Mike ate easily. I think the Tyson who fought Roy Jones would have beaten Jake to be honest, his mobility was a lot better in that fight.

Jake on the other hand, looked like shit. He didn't carry Mike, he just sucks. He ran away early because he was afraid that a 58 year old man might knock him out if he engaged, which there is a good chance he would have. Even after Mike gassed he couldn't hurt Mike he could barely even hit him for that matter. Jake Paul as a boxer is a joke. He's only beaten undersized past there prime MMA wrestlers in Woodley and Askren, Anderson Silva pushing 50, and Tyson pushing 60. He's not a serious boxer.
 
Jake would absolutely slay if he was unleashed in a retirement home. I can see it now: 'the massacre in geriatrica'

It's great that you look like that at 60, but you're not doing eight 2 minute rounds with Jake Paul.

I've fought in master's division amateur boxing, and I know I couldn't do it even with training hard for months. You just don't keep your endurance as you age, even if you train regularly. And I do

Can I run circles around untrained 20-somethings? Yep. Can I keep up with young guys in sparring? Yep. Could I hang with a guy in his prime who trains full time alongside Olympic boxers. Nope
 
I think something was wrong with Tyson's leg because he wasn't moving like a normal in shape 58 year old. Even if that was the case, it doesn't mean the fight wasn't a work. I just don't think that a Tyson with healthy knees would have moved like DeNiro in the Irishman.

Jake's face was litterally oozing pus from all the acne all the heavy shit he's on is giving him right now. Only in Texas I guess, could a 27 year old boxer on heavy gear be licensed to box a man 30 years his senior who looks like he has severe arthritic knees.

Mike was walking like Mark Coleman does now.

I tend to agree with what you're saying. His knee issue really did play a big part with the way he fought. If the Tyson from 2020 showed up the fight would have went a lot different

Yeah, people are stupid at least 90% of the population of the planet are suckers for marketing. Even at the gym I train at people were acting like oh its Mike Tyson he's a killer at any age, I wouldn't want to get hit by him etc. I just kept being reality and stating he is 58....its not going down how you want it to, I get it...Jake Paul is one hated SOB, I as well cant stand the prick and I want him to get KTFO for disrespecting the sport so much over the last few years....but a 58 year old Tyson, a 47 year old Silva, a 41 year old Woodley, a crippled wrestler named Ben Askren who has never shown decent hands ever in his career, a reality TV star name Tommy Fury who has never been ranked and rarely fights, or a retired NBA player that never fought in his life before....are NOT going to be the ones to do it. Once this fucking JP prick fights a top 50 boxer his age and size...he is done for...period.
 
Anyone who paid for this is either stupid or twelve. Mike is 58. They made it 2m rounds and 14oz gloves to minimize the chances of him being hurt. It was a glorified sparring session, and a really sad one. Paul carried him, and it was a pathetic sight.

Anyone who thought they were going to see a fight is simply clueless.

but I’d like to believe that Paul stood across from Tyson then realized this dude is damn near geriatric and had an epiphany that if he knocked Tyson the F out the boxing gods would take his soul.

And honestly as bad as they were Mike woulda finished Jake if he was hugging the first 2 rounds which is as sad as it sounds...

Anyone with eyes and a an adult brain can see that just because Jake won and the fight was complete bullshit doesn't mean it's a setup .. like the Mayweather fights where he makes them last a few rounds or like when he was helping Logan Paul recover and last.

The old man lasted 8 2-minute rounds. I'm impressed by that alone. He was completely gassed and at times had trouble answering the bell. I lasted 30 seconds in my first fight and was totally gassed out despite being able to run a 6 min mile and feeling like I was in the best shape of my life.
