I do love movies set in feudal Japan.

definitely going to seek out Out of the Body. i fucking love Retribution. one of those movies that i went in w/ zero expectations & left feeling as though i stumbled upon a little gem. i remember looking for a bluray online right after watching it, but couldn’t find one that wasn’t way overpriced.

in other news, about to throw on Lisa and the Devil. signed up for a Fandor subscription just to watch A Bay of Blood last weekend & figured i might as well make the most out of the one month i already paid for.
Out of The Body is really tough to find, I think this version on Youtube is about the best you might find (unless you still have VHS player). Movies123 may have it

Retribution is a really cool little movie, I managed to pick it up on a German Blu Ray release a few years ago. It's no 4K scan but it's better than the DVD versions. Really good movie though

Let me know what you think of Lisa & The Devil, and if you can watch House Of Exorcism straight afterwards to see what movie it could have been. I picked up both on Arrows Blu Ray release for a fiver last week

Yes! Those are the two of his latest that I'm interested in seeing as well. I've read some really interesting reviews for COLOR OUT OF SPACE. I've been a big fan of that particular story ever since seeing DIE MONSTER DIE! when I was a little kid. Then when I was a bit older I read Lovecraft's story & became an even bigger fan of it so I can't wait to see the newest take on it.
And PRIMAL just sounds like good cheesy fun.
As for KILL CHAIN, yeah it was far from exciting. Like I said, it was just a time-waster.
You have, of course, seen MANDY, right? God, I'm obsessed with that movie. LOL. I've watched it six or seven times in the past eleven months.
And what about MOM AND DAD? Have you seen it? I've heard good things about it but haven't gotten around to watching it yet.

i wore out my Mandy blu to the point that it completely disintegrated into the ether. no but seriously, i always had it on hand to force onto my friends that hadn’t seen it & misplaced it in the process. a return to form for Nicolas.

Mom and Dad was alright. could’ve used a little more Nicolas seasoning for my taste because he made the most of every opportunity to lose his shit, but that’s probably just me. also thought the breakbeat style score felt out of place. still def worth watching, i just expected a little bit more from the second Brian Taylor/Nicolas collaboration

I downloaded Mandy last night, no idea what it's about but so many people seem to be singing it's praises, so I'll give it a go

I watched STEPFATHER on friday with the Mrs, the original with Terry O'Quinn. Really like that movie, Terry plays disturbed serial killer fitting in with family life so well. Cracking movie

Started watching this last night, Zombie Nightmare, scores a 2.5 on IMDB!!
It's wicked bad, loved it. Bit off putting as the main dude who turns into a zombie walks around in grey sweat pants with no underwear on and there is a LOT of movement down there.
Woefully bad with an awesome metal soundtrack, it's a keeper

Cool! Let me know what you think. Hopefully, you'll enjoy it.
Just be prepared for a slow start & plenty of weirdness before things go gonzo. As I said, I love it but your mileage may vary. It can be a bit polarizing.

I just watched Cube. I’m not usually into horror but this was so bad it was good.

I've never seen this, lot of people have recommended it but it never took my fancy

I do love a good shit movie

It's a cool premise with some good ideas but the acting is pretty bad.

Just finding out about this Nicolas Cage/H.P Lovecraft film. Need to see this.

Not horror but this came out of my lucky dip pot last night

Nice 'scenery' especially as Pam Grier is in it, but not much to shout about

Has anyone posted Blacula yet?

Or:

Or maybe

Hey dude, Blacula I do like but I tell you what I did watch for the first time recently
33632_1_front.jpg

A slightly porngraphic retelling of the story with ample oral sex scenes
It was funny!

Never seen Blackenstein though, to be honest I didn't even know it existed, now I'll have to go hunt that monster down.

Omega Man is awesome, I like watching that and Soylent Green together. Love the eating scene in Soylent Green

Way cool! Unfortunately, mine isn't going to arrive until after Halloween but that's OK. As long as I know it's on the way. I can't wait to get a look at it.

I couldn't wait, had to watch it last night. I can only imagine how good it's going to look on your 4K set up

I will go with some Friday the 13th movies and Nightmare on Elm street. But he only thing to really ever scare me was Unsolved Mysteries as a kid.
