It was a diuretic?!? (Regarding Romero).

Who the fuck is ENTimports?
https://who.is/whois/entimports.com/

some website that started up in October?

All their website is, is just currated content (think buzzfeed), and somehow this site with 400twitter followers breaks a USADA story?

And no other reputable sources are breaking this except some shitty site like lowkickmma?

Both Cris Cyborg and Brandon Vera's Facebook pages post all their news and information from the ENT website. Also they both post the same articles at the same time in the same style. I believe they are both managed by the same company who also manages and runs ENTimports.

True, but they can always argue it's just to help cutting weight. People don't call Cerrone a cheater all the time and he tested positive for diuretics.
Still, my main point was that if there actually is a diuretic in the supplement (tested by USADA) and the label does not say that, I see it as a good defense for Yoel.
"True , but the can always argue it's just to help cutting weight .."
????? I'm getting confused aren't diuretics banned for the purpose of weight cutting ? So this would just be an admission of guilt to USADA and result in a minimum 12 month ban ??

some sherlock shit going on

ENT Imports has sources inside the USADA? Would take undisclosed sources with a boulder of salt.

why is it less serious? One of the main uses for diuretics is to help mask steroid use.

Well, if the diuretic isn't on the label, it's quite a long shot to assume he counted on this product to mask an eventual steroid use.

"stool gate"

the guy is retarded

Wheres all the muscle envy Sherbros accusing Romero of PEDs now???

Mr Romero deserves an apology

Agreed. I'm sorry I thought Yoel was using steroids when instead he appears to have tested positive for an agent that is used to mask steroid use.

Not necessarily, Diuretics in MMA have generally been used to facilitate weight cutting.

It's prohibited because it's dangerous for your body as in even your heart can suffer when your body is dropping massive amounts of water weight at a rapid level

Still cheating is it not? Didnt he also get suspended for throwing a wrestling match?

Weight cutting is one purpose, the other is being a masking agent. I think many people would consider diuretics for weight cutting less of an issue than steroids, even if the USADA does not.

USADA will consider a tainted supplement in its sentencing, but their policy is that athletes are responsible for what goes into their bodies, and ignorance isn't enough.

This isn't a case of ignorance. If USADA did independently confirm contamination, then Yoel is a victim of fraud and can't be punished.

Still cheating is it not?

If they actually prove those specific supplements have a diuretic that is not on the label, how can you expect him to know? This is not like using a Thai viagra your friend gave you.

What looks like it might save him is that it's over the counter and not on the label. In other words, how would one know about a banned substance if it's not on the label and it's over the counter?

Somewhere Tim Kennedy is feeling the butthurt.

You're seriously going to bank on him knowing when it's over the counter and not on the label?

Even if he was on something, his defense is sound and now echoed by the usda. How often does that happen where they say it might not be the fighters fault?

Somewhere Tim Kennedy is feeling the butthurt.
Knowing him, he will still try to whine about this.

"I got ktfo because I was tired, which was consequently because Yoel was on diuretics and I cut weight like a man!"

You know guys, maybe we should Sherlock the source of the USADA breaking story first? a story that no other website has broken?

Whether he is or isn't on steroids, we don't know. The good news is that I won't judge you. If I more closely resembled a giant pear than a professional athlete, I would probably point the steroid finger at everyone as well. Really, it will be ok.[/I]

LOLOL. This is the lamest fucking argument. He failed a PED test..

His failure has got nothing to do with judgement or 'pear shaped' commenters being jealous of his roided physique. He had banned substances in his system. That's on him.

If I was Yoel, I would lawyer up and take the supplement company to court.
