So Trump tried to sell his base with a really stupid: "regime change is against political correctness" line and when, by some miracle, some large number of them didn't take the bait, he backed down. Turns out he was only able to get them to support a bombing raid, this time.

So he's testing the waters. He will test them again.

This whole "Nuclear Iran" issue wasn't even being talked about in May, and by the end of June he thinks he can sell his voters on regime change. I'm happily surprised it doesn't seem to have worked.

I think back in May he was talking about conquering Greenland. Didn't sell them on that either. Maybe he will be attacking the cartels by August.

Truth be told, I don't believe any inspectors have been inside the Fordow site to verify the story either way. There was certainly damage from the satellite photos, but it does not tell us how damaged the underground facility ended up. A lot of assumptions in my opinion. Again, the GBU-57 bomb was designed to penetrate ground (earth) and fortified concrete, not a mountain made of granite. Sure, it will blow through granite (like the building of Mount Rushmore with TNT), but to what depth? I'm holding out on my conclusion until someone enters the site. Like the damage to Chernobyl.

* Most successful military strike in history? I can think of a few others.
