So we’re at the stage when the mainstream media who have spent the last couple of weeks playing skeptics whether Iran was close to nukes at all…now claiming that they’re close to having nukes and only suffered minor set backs for the sake of suggesting that the US strikes were unsuccessful. Full speed ahead lol

But people shouldn’t lap up this “intelligence report” because there are people(no doubt in the intelligence community and pentagon) that want to goad the US into carrying out strikes and war out on Iran on an sustained basis. “Leaks” like this and the breathless coverage of it are meant to do that.

Sustained raids on Iran is only sellable if the suggestion of the Iran “nuclear threat” still exists.

So you know damn well there are people not ready to give up that pretense.

I’d imagine it was only a month or two before Israel came out and said “oh wait”

So no matter what side you’re on. If the admin wants to declare that Iran has lost all capability of producing nuclear weapons in the foreseeable future. Removing that pretense of an imminent nuclear Iran is good for the US and good for the region.

Because after that, direct regime change is the only excuse to attack Iran and that’s a little harder to shove down people’s throats. Atleast with the nukes Trump had a consistent line about that for a decade.

And it’s hard to understand what “set back a few months” means when just last week the official line from the intelligence community was that Iran wasn’t close to a nuke at all.

I still don’t care if they get one or not. Since I don’t have nuclear holocaust nightmares. Even the cultures I hold in the lowest regard I don’t think would just press the button because they hate somebody. I view nukes as deterrents that largely takes countries off the table for this shit. That’s a good thing.

If you want assurances that no country can match America's military prowess, you got it. I don't think any one is arguing that point.

But regime change is a different game. And that's Israel's motivation. And for their battles, they like to bring big brother to fight their battles. We'll see how long big brother resists the urge.

But we all know Israel is not giving up so easily. They want regime change.

Btw, if you think Iran is so limp dicked, which they are in many ways, explain why Israel was getting penetrated. Iran is more measured and calculated than you may want to believe...because they have to be. They absolutely don't want a war with US.

All of their retaliation (suleimani, qatar) have been prewarned and symbolic. They know how far they can go. If anything, it contradicts the medias narrative of "Iran is a bunch of savage lunatics who will kill themselves and everyone together".

But a war with Israel, one v one...they didn't mind it.

Trump's outburst today, is a glimmer of proof that Israel is the one of the two that needs to be reined in and that they're the ones to act out of order in these tense circumstances.
