If you want to be more honest about it, the majority of the deaths in Iraq were not due to direct action from US forces, but sectarian violence that followed between Shia, Sunnis, and Ba'athists.

Sectarian violence in large part fueled and coordinated by Iran, who arms Shia militias and terror groups in Iraq still to this day.

Obviously US is largely to blame due to creating the power vacuum to begin with, but Iran was also largely to blame for the long term continuation of violence in the country.
