The Fordow nuclear facility is 300 feet underground. It is believed to be capable of producing a nuclear warhead in 2 to 3 days. A 90% enrichment of U-235. If all this is true, Iran already has the blueprints on how to build a bomb -- also meaning the bomb is already partly built. The question that remains is if this warhead (bomb) can fit on top of a missile. Iran already has the missile.

Call me nieve, but why can't Iran, let US officials check out this facility and verify that it is not enriching Uranium for Nuclear weapons? I mean, if they have nothing to hide, this would prevent US from joining this war.

The problem with the US joining Israel in the fight is that Iran has already announced that if the US does that, it will target all US bases in the Middle East. Many of these bases are nowhere near as well protected as cities in Israel.

Building a democracy and taking over a country are not distinct. We occupyed both countries it under martial law and picked who was eligible to be in government and run for leadership.
