Ah, interesting. I thought they had bunker busters
What I heard last night on the news was they don't have bombers- and that jets are too small to carry bunker busters, so they would have a hard time getting those dug in places. Very different kinds of planes. They will surely keep going after them though.

I also heard a lot of the attacks came from spies on the ground that had smuggles in all kinds of weapons; Israel's intelligence is insane. They had figured out where nuclear scientists and major military leaders were and got most of those targets. Their supreme leader must be nervous about now.

Debatable.. they’re the same people who say there are no civilians in Gaza and book boat tours to see missiles rain down on little kids and women
Oh, don't get me wrong. There are a lot of pieces of shit there. But there are a lot just trying to live their lives and have to deal with this shit.

Doesn't look like that manipulation is going so well in regards to support for Israel and war in the Middle East
It's war in general, I'm going on 50.
This retarded shit has been going my whole fucking life.

I'm a Republican that voted for Barack over Mitt. I thought BO would steer away from war with Iran.

kinda 1 issue voter

I don't blame you for being a one issue voter. However, they both play for the same team and Israel owns the team

Iran is a whimpering, legless, toothless pussy cat. I'm not surprised though, there was no way they could ever put up a real resistance. I don't like Israel, but I don't like the Muslim world either, especially their arrogance. And I know every strike against them further proves what a laughing stock they are.

Yea, I heard not just spies inside their territory, but also assets and spies embedded within their military, which helped keep their systems like air defense from working properly

It sounds like most of the Israeli population is in bomb shelters, so those blasts in Israeli cities aren't as bad as they look in terms of loss of life.

Update:

🇮🇱 Israeli Casualties

  • Iran launched a major missile and drone strike (“Operation True Promise III”) on the evening of June 13, with over 100 missiles and more than 100 drones targeting Israel. Israel’s Iron Dome intercepted most of them
  • Israeli emergency services confirm:
    • 1 civilian killed (a woman in Tel Aviv)
    • Around 63–71 people injured, spanning critically to lightly wounded
  • Additional waves continued into early June 14, with minor additional injuries (7 people lightly injured)
➡️ Israel thus appears to have moderate casualties, with intercepts largely successful but still resulting in loss of life and numerous injuries.

🕳️ Safety & Shelter Use

  • Air‑raid sirens have sounded nationwide—Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and additional cities—and the public has been actively ordered into bomb shelters
  • Media outlets are depicting full shelters, halted public events, canceled flights, and a “shelter‑in‑place” atmosphere in major urban areas .
  • Shelter guidance has been rescinded in some areas where intercepted waves subsided, but officials emphasize readiness until the threat passes .
➡️ Yes, a significant portion of Israel’s population is actively using bomb shelters. High-alert protocols are in effect across cities, and public compliance appears strong.
📝 Summary

CategoryDetails
Casualties1 fatality, ~63–71 injured due to Iranian retaliation.
Shelter UsageWidespread use of public and private shelters; cities under active alert.

Fact of the matter is, unless Israel does a nuclear strike, neither side can totally "defeat" the other side.

Yes Israel is much more technologically advanced, but Iran has a much greater landmass, much larger population, much larger conventional military and there are several countries in between Israel and Iran.

You can't "defeat" another country with just bombing. You need to put boots on the ground. And neither Israel nor Iran has the capability to do so.

So what Israel wants is the US to put boots on the ground for them. They're putting heavy political pressure on all our politicians. Fuck Netanyahu.
