One week and Israelis are tired of living in tunnels and shelters. Imagine the conditions for food, water, and sanitation. ...and they laughed at the situation in Gaza. The economy has gone to shit since most people are not working, and we still have another week of strikes by the IAF in Iran. 'Operation Rising Lion.' More like 'Operation Dying Lion.' At the end of those two weeks Israeli planes come home for good and Iranian missiles will continue to rain down on Israel for at least another 3 months. So, 3 months in the tunnels and shelters for the Israelis and a dead economy for the same period. The Fordow nuclear installation will remain intact and most likely producing 90% grade U-235. Personally, I think the Iranians already have a bomb in the kiloton range. Too many years have gone by for them not to have it. North Korea, India, and Pakistan achieved this goal in less time. If these countries can do it, so can Iran. Iran is hiding their program just like the Israelis did back in the late 60s and early 70s.

* Also, have you noticed how all the idiots (peanut gallery) from the Russia/Ukraine conflict thread are now migrating to this thread? Russia must be doing something right. I hope things here won't turn into the debacle of the other thread. More people in here with more diverse points of view and respect.

Remember the Little Boy bomb dropped in Hiroshima? It was a Uranium gun-type bomb and never tested. That is how confident those physicists at Los Alamos were that the bomb would succeed. The bomb dropped on Nagasaki was a Plutonium-based implosion-type bomb. That is what was tested at the Trinity site in New Mexico. I believe the Iranians could have gone nuclear faster if they used Plutonium, Pu-239. ...and where have those unaccounted nukes from Russia (fall of the Soviet Union) from 1992 finished up? Former Russian officials, like General Alexander Lebed, have claimed that over 100 "suitcase" sized nuclear weapons were unaccounted for after the Soviet collapse. :eek: Ah, that would be a lot of unaccounted nukes. Maybe 25 have finished up in Iran? Iran plays a heavy hand in the 'black' market of weapons sale.

The same thing happened with Israel in the late 60s and early 70s. They assured the US inspectors that they were not working on a nuclear bomb. Of course, they were lying. They were running a nuclear parallel program, and the American inspectors only saw one of the programs. What the Israelis wanted to show them. The funny part is that it was all in the same building but different floors. The Israelis got their bomb, but they still won't admit to it. They won't admit or deny having one. All of it with stolen American U-235.

How many Senators signed on to the War Powers Resolution, specifically Republican?

I can think of one.

The others have already bent the knee. They all got their phone calls and marching orders. That includes the MTGs to the Charlie Kirks to the Bannons. Their new stance is "we don't want this but if Trump does it, we have full faith and confidence in him" because he's Jesus or whatever.
