Recent US intel reports also said they were not actively pursuing a nuclear weapon.

Designing and manufacturing a nuclear weapon is not the same thing as enriching uranium to 60%. Everybody already knew Iran had enriched uranium. Literally nothing had changed except Israel found it politically and logistically convenient to attack now.

Yea they enriched it to 60% as a bargaining tool only after the Natanz nuclear facility was attacked on 04/11/21. Not only was their commercial nuclear facility sabotaged in 2021, they've been facing heavier sanctions since Trump pulled out of the deal in 2018. They only enriched to 60% so they could use it as a bargaining tool to ease sanctions.

1. You need uranium to be enriched to 90% for it to be weapons capable.
2. Iran does not have any delivery method or warhead to even do a nuclear strike.
3. Iran is not working on any technology to weaponize uranium for a weapon nor is it clear they have the advanced technical ability to do so. They're literally years away if they actually tried.

You want to desperately frame it as "OMG they're on the precipice of a nuclear weapon!!"
