islams manager lol has little say, expect islam vs ilia international fight week
We understand, but he's feeding the trolls by picking contenders PATH to the contention.Everyone is either mad because Islam "only defends against featherweights" or they claim he's ducking ANOTHER featherweight... He just can't win.
The hate towards Dagestanis is so ridiculous.

Islams job is to fight who the UFC tells him to, not pick his opponent’s opponent.Thats fine w me.
It's not Islam's job to haul ladders down to any more FW's to face him. Let them earn it.
Ilia is super confident, so it should be no problem for him.
UFC should up their price for The Mack, thenIslams job is to fight who the UFC tells him to, not pick his opponent’s opponent.
Of course he does. That's why he's Islam's manager. He negotiates the good shit.islams manager lol has little say
Islam just fought. He's been training HARD for Arman for months now.Islam is ducking Topuria HARD for months now
Yeah and that lives Top as the opponent unless Mak is sitting until fall.It should be Arman but if Dana is going to be petty about it (most likely) then it'll be a bit of a problem. Thing is, I understand why Dana wouldn't want Arman to get the next shot. Talk about shooting oneself in the foot.
In principle this is good, but why did nobody care about this before? With Volk? Seems odd to me
Islam called out after a win and encouraged 'short guy' Volk to move up. Double standards.
I don't hate it, as long as this doesn't allow Islam to sit on the sidelines until the end of the year.
Say Islam vs Arman & Ilia vs Charles on the same card this summer.
HOWEVER, if Islam loses & Ilia wins, no immediate rematch for Islam. Move forward with Arman vs Ilia.
Yeah but Volk was #1 p4p then. At least Islam had something to gain risking his belt. Right now thes the #1P4P so it’s the burden in topuria(#4 p4p) to prove himself first. I dont think its much to as Ilia to beat a top 5 guy since islam is risking both his titles.Islam called out after a win and encouraged 'short guy' Volk to move up. Double standards.
I don't disagree with the logic. I just highly doubt Islam keeps that same energy if he decides to move up. Highly doubt he's looking to fight the #1 contender or a top ranked WW or MW before fighting for the belt.
He, like all champs just want to skip he entire top10 and get the automatic TS, while having 0 wins in the weightclass. It's super lame.
