Islam is the most likeable dag fighter

He's my favourite for ending "the champ has a name" shit from charles and his glazing fanbase, that was starting to get annoying
I didnt care about any of that. Charles deserved to have fans

It was the ones that said hes gonna destroy Khabib's legacy and he couldnt even get a W over his buddy

That was glorious

Of course he deserved to have fans but some of them were going too far saying he would destroy khabib and there was constant posts saying he surpassed khabib. At a certain point it seemed like they weren't even charles fans just people trying to push an agenda.

I think the KO loss humbled him a bit, something the elite dags seem to need.

Regardless of the good it did for his personality/spirit, it cannot save him from Conor’s left! <scurred>

I always liked Islam since day one, sadly he will always be in Khabib shadow one way or another but thanks to his dominance people are starting to know him for who he is and also he is getting the respect and appreaciaton he really deserves, he is all class.

It's true, I can't possibly dislike the guy. Seems to have a great positive aura about him, and unlike Khabib he doesn't pick and choose fights and avoid challenges, or make unreasonable prima Donna demands like asking 40 year old GSP to cut to 155....to the contrary he called out Leon and now even thinks he can fight DDP.

Islam is my favorite personality in the sport for the last couple of years. I'm thankful for DC. I feel like if not for DC people wouldn't have nearly as good of an idea on what a great character and person Islam is for the sport.

"If you want your son to have high level wrestling send 2-3 year Dagestan and forget" is a quote that replays in my head constantly. I find myself wanting to send my kids to *vacation* at an all inclusive Dagi wrestling camp

Honestly without any hate, Khabib always striked to me as somebody who's a bit of a hypocrite (again idk him in real life, just the impression) and most of the dagestani fighters too.

But I feel like the only dagestani who is really likeable is Islam, he's funny and genuinely a good guy, is there people who actually hate him? I think he might have Aspergers too (no hate, once again, I'm not dissing)
Did you just self diagnose yourself with that?
Bit awkward are you? Nothing wrong with that.

Timur Valiev, who competed at TUF, is hands down the most sympathetic dagi. He seems to be genuinely a really good and chill guy. All the others are cocky extremists compared to him. Too bad he didn’t make it in the UFC.

Absolutely. Khabib was a mental midget and spaz at times, he also had bad hot takes. People forget about all his incidents and other stuff he had.

Coach Khabib is way cooler than spaz Khabib the fighter was at times. Islam is just more likable as a fighter. He doesn’t need to slap Artem, brawl with the Diaz bros, kick belts off stage, have Conor drama, Khamzat drama, have drama with other fighters. Khabib had issues with nearly everyone and Islam seems chill af.

Khabib said Anthony Pettis was made of glass and injury prone. Then Khabib pulls out of a bunch of fights and is injured for like 2 plus years , creates multiple interim champions because he barely fought 1x a year. Then he comes back and misses weight pulling out again.

Khabib has said a bunch of hypocritical stuff and has many controversy’s. Dude legit said at an official UFC presser female fighters should be home pleasing their husbands. It’s one thing to say that on your own time like Fedor but not literally in the presence of them at an official presser after they fought wtf. Islam is a bit of an awkward likable goof ball. Again, coach Khabib seems more mature and likable now.

Zabit was my fav. He was like a Kung Fu version of Abraham Lincoln.
