Is Usman a draw or are top WWs trying to get an easy win?

I called Usman washed up after his Khamzat fight, but I was clearly wrong. I thought Whittaker would do a lot better at defending the takedown than he did. So clearly Usman did pretty well in that fight on short notice. He's also more of a natural welterweight than a middleweight.

I think he's a legit contender for Shavkat to fight. My personal choice would be Shavkat vs Brady, but Usman isn't by any means a bad option.

It's safe to say Usmans best days are far behind him. He may still be competitive but Usman doesn't have that edge anymore. When you get brutally kod and are on a losing streak you will do everything in your power to avoid both those things which makes him less dangerous and more predictable

Yeah, they are looking to maximize their opponent's stature while minimizing their challenge.

I actually don't think all those guys would beat him right now. He did well against Kham, and probably would have won a five-round fight.

Yes

And yes, not really easy, but a worthy win I’d call it

Beating former champions does well in getting TS’s

Those rankings have Usman unranked and Colby ranked 13th. Those rankings are absolute shit on that one premise alone without me looking at anything else.

There is no argument Colby should be ahead of Usman.
Colby scored a win about a year and a half ago, Usman hasn't won in over 3 years?

Honestly, the fact either are in any WW top 10 shows how crappy the division has become. I don't really care if Usman gets the call, but no way should a title be on the line.

JDM and Shavkat are probably the two best of the bunch. The rest just seem like a bunch of mehs and gatekeepers.

Lol he beat a worse version of the guy Usman already beat twice and he beat Colby twice. There is no argument.

I am not saying he deserves anything, other than to not be ranked behind Colby Covington because there is zero logic to support that

He's a well known name that's fallen out of his prime, that these younger guys have a good chance of getting a W against and claiming a title shot
