Silva had a very good win over a #12 ranked Bryce & people are already anointing & crowning him as the next champ, saying they wanna see him face Topuria if Topuria hadn’t left the division, etc. It wouldn’t surprise me if Silva looks bad against a elite guy in his next fight either

Garry was stifling all his offense. Garry fought like water my friend. Good footwork , lead leg was always outside for offense yet ready to move out of range. Kept up the jab solid the whole fight, still landing hard in the fifth early. As soon as Pirates looked to close the distance or open Garry threw in a half takedown attempt not fully committing yet enough to make Pirates reset. Garry and his camp had a solid game plan that executed to near perfection.

I don't want to rag on Bryce when he is down but that match-up was just a clever way to hide Silva's potential and sell the fight using Bryce's political bullshit as the backstory. We have no idea how good he is and the fact people think he could beat Ilia prove to me this might of of been another calculated "rise" to the top 10 where he will be the favorite against someone like Arnold.

Look I admit, watching Carlos get schooled by Ian was fun as people really thought he was some psycho killer who trained in Thailand and was going to dominate a cuck and fuck Ian's wife while smoking cigarettes in their bedroom proving real men do muay thai and fight nerds are supernatural dark wariors.
