Prates has the most KO power at the top of the division right now for sure but to be fair we haven't really seen Prates fight anyone whose chin isn't suspect or shot. Leon's chin has been sus ever since Nate had him on skates, Magny's chin was shot, and Neal's chin was very likely cracked after his war with Shavkat. Until we see him KO someone with a proven chin like Belal or JDM I don't think we can say he 100% has the touch of death yet.

And it was such a crazy difference I always wondered if he did something sketchy to his wraps or what the fuck was going on. It wasn't one punch KO guy falls down and is unconscious it was one punch KO and the guy is astral traveling immediately, shocking KOs.

I have gone back and forth on that with a lot of these touch of death guys. None of us want to acknowledge the possibility, but it happens in combat sports. I can't remember which fight, but there was some high level boxing match that resulted in the handwraps and gloves being changed out last minute in the last fifteen or twenty years because of the suspicion.

With Hendricks, I think he had two instances of perfect timing on top of being juiced through the roof. It's also not like Kampmann or Fitch were known for rolling with punches or tucking their chins.

Man, Fitch was one of those dudes you had to put out to get out of there. Alves dropped him and he recovered immediately. GSP dropped him a few times and he just kept popping back up. Can't remember other times during his prime.

It wouldn't surprise me to find out he was on some sketchy shit with his equipment.
