Is Khazmat the most overrated fighter of all time?

Dana an the hype machine were pumping this guy up based on his looks. They gave him cans to crush which sent sherdog into fucking meltdown for weeks about how he will be the world beater.

they toss him another can barberena, who exposes him, hype machine rolls on saying fluke still young etc etc. same thing happens again with Gall people start to wise up, Dana stops riding his sack and everyone basically turns on him. This is his fall from grace.

He went from Dana golden boy sherdog ultimate champ to dropped and fighting in bush leagues.
lol sorry, thought you were talking about Khamzat

Greatest of all time

He needs to retire now so he doesn’t taint his legacy with his past prime covid run

He’s good enough to have this discussion come up regularly on this forum and create heated dialogue LoL... He also has a full fledged fraternity of lap dogs calling him future GOAT, a large herd of unapologetic haters, claiming he’s been ducking fights while using C19 as an excuse (mostly Habib fans I’m guessing). Hasn’t fought in almost a year and has threads on him daily, I guess he’s evidently doing something right. To answer your question, yes he’s extremely highly regarded for such a small sample size, however no doubt that he’s looked very impressive in his 3 UFC fights. Considering the viewers have very limited exposure, yet he’s polarized a large number of nutt huggers and detractors alike is somewhat an achievement within itself.

He's literally only 9-0 and of his 3 no-name wins he has in the UFC, one of the guys doesn't even have a wikipedia

I am not denying that he isn't good or doesn't have potential

But he seems to be unjustifiably more overrated than anyone I seen in recent history. This is worse than the Johnny Walker hype train

We haven't seen him tested, we don't know his gas tank a minute past round 2, etc
Here are two worth mentioning............
Dana was reminded of GSP (?)
Fainting Phillipe

He hasnt lost to be overrated yet. Did he have a really quick rise without actually having beaten anyone of note? Yes and maybe in the end the hype he got isnt deserved but lets see how he looks vs Li when he comes back and if he can climb the ladder in WW div.

haha second person to fall into this trap!
Lol that's what scrolling through threads quickly without reading will get you sometimes.

That is a narrative I keep seeing though. 'Khamzat's decline' and whatnot.

Ikram Aliskerov would be at least top 10 caliber in the UFC, and Khamzat finished him in 2 minutes

He hasn't fought fought anyone of significance to be considered rated let alone overrated, other than looking good in the fights he as fought there's not much to go on...
