Is Jamahal Hill done after Jiri starches him in round one?

The fact you had to write fair ko loss questions whether it was fair. Sounds like u have doubt.

Hill is a far more talented fighter than he looks in physical appearance or his tone which sounds like a nonchalant stoner. Hill is bordering on most underrated in the UFC. Jiri is bordering on most overrated. Without his head snorkel I highly doubt anyone remembers him as much more than a talented contender that will be a gatekeeper SHORTLY
 
I’m possibly the biggest Hill hater on the forum but if he can regain form and is truly focused on this fight, Jiri could get knocked out pretty violently.

That being said, I don’t think he is. His head isn’t in it and I think he gets knocked out. He needs to see a sports psychologist badly.

I have to say the you're right.... Jiri is extremely hittable and he doesn't seem like he fa's fixed that hole in his game.

I do tend to think though people are judging Jiri rather by the Alex fights, in terms of dangerous counter fighting Pereira is up there with the very best in MMA history.

Besides that Jiri's UFC career has tended to be him successfully chasing people down and turning fights into aggressive brawls, he's gotten hit often but he's hit his opponents more often.

Hill has shown some good ability to pick away from the outside but I'm not convinced I see him doing that to Jiri, I feel its more likely to turn into another crazy brawl and technically I don't think Hill has looked as good as Alex when under that ind of pressure, he tends to turn into a brawler himelf.

A big unknown as well for me is the effect the loses to Alex may have had on either man, I suspect for Jiri it maybe more physical, is his chin what it was? for Hill probably potentially more mental.

Even that I think that Hill isn't elite (he was champion by accident and faced only one elite fighter in Alex and got steamrolled) and Jiri is elite I have feeling that Jamahal is bad match up for Prochazka due to later being to hittable with not so strong striking defense and Sweet Dreams hits fairly hard. No man with a little head, dribble chin, and thin neck can take a punch.

Hill literally was KO'd from the first hook Pereira threw and landed.

He is a joke of a fighter.

or another example zzy fought Strickland who has weird style but tell me how experienced fighter like Adesanya who fought across 3 fighting sports (boxing, K1 and MMA) didn't know what to do while someone is using Philly shell and acts weird? I thought that was offnight performance because it was free title defense but he ultimately lost very bad against guy who is class below him. Then he proved I was wrong - Adesanya faced DDP and now I know that after Alex fight (which he won by KO) he went past his prime and we won't see Stylebender from his first championship reign.

Glover was in the prime of his life fighting Jiri, but only 6 months later when Glover was fighting Hill, Glover was more washed up than your personal sock in high school. Give me a fuckin break!
 
No, he isn't done. He can still make good money as a mid pack/gatekeeper guy.

Why do people get so wrapped up in fighters personalities that they can't recognize a person's skills? Hill is good man but for some reason a nightmare personality which probably keeps him relevant just like it does Sean. To answer the original question, yes I think Hill knows this fight means everything for his career. Jiri will still be loved and probably get more fights if he wanted them but fans will take everything from Hill if he loses by saying he is a fraud and it him being champion was a fluke. I think Hill will win this if he is healthy and healed, he for sure has really bad luck in life which makes me want him to win this.
 
IF he does, then probably, but the same is true in both directions. Hill getting KO'd back to back in his post surgery fights is pretty hard to come back from, but Jiri getting KO'd 3 times in 14 months isn't exactly going to do wonders for him either.
 
Fight could go either way but i feel like jiris chin has been cracked and hill will ko him.he wasn't looking great in the rakic fight before he won
