Is it Possible?--Bellator & WSOF to put on a Co-promoted Event

Not going to happen, the companies have different tv deals and don't like each other
 
Chances are either side would not be interested in the end.

Make up your fantasy matches and it isn't or barely better then what each promotion can do themselves.

I'm not even starting this sh*t again. IDGAF. If/when it happens I'll say "cool." They are both doing OK at the moment, and it's not like them working together would be some kind of com for the UFC, so who cares. There is a couple good fights there, but nothing we "have to see" yet.

Thats not in the works dude, thats one side trying to create interest in their org, its not gonna happen.

Bellator gains nothing and risks everything.

Yeah, I know, smells like just a publicity stunt by WSOF... but hey it's an actual, tangible proposal by one of them. That's a start.
 
I was just reading this on the Junkie and immediately had to come look for the thread that I knew would be here. I think it would be awesome.

Even without the dumb shit like "winner gets the gate" and whatnot, there's absolutely no way they'd be able to pay all of these guys without taking a huge financial hit. This would be some Affliction type shit but on a smaller scale.

number 3 US orgs don't get love from number 2. Strikeforce wouldnt let Bellator ride their coattails. Doubt Bellator will let WSOF do it....especially since WSOF has the stench of cronyism and are out to impede Bellator MMA... probably still only exist for the sake of obstructing Bellator...same couldn't be said back then.

It is at least discussions of it. Will be interesting to hear how Bellator responds.

the PPV would have to do 400K+ to pay for those fighters/production/fees/adds... so i agree no way.

this is just pie in the sky stuff, but well done by WSOF as they can say that they were willing to do it. the same way Bjorn did with the Eddie Alvarez vs Gilbert Melendez fight. i will try to find the interview, but Bjorn was also talking about a Bellator vs Strikeforce Main Card.....similar to this......knowing Bjorn is a HUGE FIGHT FAN......how can he say NO

That would be bad ass. Would have to work out the revenue share though despite that winner takes all nonsense. Would be cool if they worked out a future partnership as well rather than being at war with each other.
