Of course not, but that's not gonna matter to people who dont like him, or like someone better. Khabib didnt even lose to Tibau but people gonna bring that up til the end of time.

I will say that the best way to beat some of these Dagestanis is to get at them before they get as good as Khabib was in 2018 - 2020 or Islam is now.

What the fuck are you talking about....Back when Khabib fought Tibau they scored pressure over everything Ala Diego vs Kampmann. That said, Tibau landed the takedowns, the cleaner strikers and the few more significant strikes...kinda shut Khabibs game down just a very low activity fight...in today's world it's likely a unanimous decision for Tibau. 5 out of 6 media scorecards were for Tibau. Islam got slumped by Martins, it's part of his legacy. Both these guys would eventually become worlds better than Tibau and Martins but it's still part of their careers.

Hardly relevant in either guy's career. They both obviously got way better than that. It's like people bringing up Stipe's loss to Struve. Yeah that was then boys. Good luck trying to use that to evaluate him now. Time moves on!

A lot of short-notice for Islam. Not his fault - since his opponents were pulling out injured - but he only has two long-notice wins against real elite LWs and 3 short-notice elite wins in general.
Khabib dominated long-notice fights the same way Islam dominated short-notice fights (because Islam didn't dominate Volk 1, Poirier or IMO Oliveira, although people will disagree with the last one).
I will say Islam's win over long-notice Oliveira is a higher quality win than anything on Khabib's résumé.

Your point being that Dagis are superior in general, and it is an inevitability that they will progress to unbeatability and dominate at all weight classes? Dagis in MMA are like black people in the 100 meters?

Seems far-fetched. Even the two top fighters you mention have a way to go before they prove they are beyond other GOAT champions. I mean objectively speaking in terms of beating top contenders and champs that have been highly successful (beating ranked fighters, fighters above your weight, etc.); they aren't at the level of the GSP, Jones, Anderson, Fedor, etc.

Not at all. Both guys will be legends after they retire, but Khabib clearly takes it for me.
They have two common opponents.
Tibau was still juiced to hell and at his best when he fought Khabib. Khabib still squeaked out the win. Islam fought his ghost years later and won by KO.
The other is Dustin Poirier. Dustin had nothing for Khabib. He was broken and quickly submitted. Islam struggled with him and pulled off a nasty sub late in a back-and-forth fight.

Imo Islam's UFC career is BETTER then Khabib's.

Funny how Khabib turned down Aldo and the interim LW title because he didn't want to be a "weight bully" but 2 of Islam's title defenses are against Volk a 145 pound fighter. But that's nether here nor there.
