I mean it was a close fight that could have gone either way, but thinking he won 4 and 5? I don't know anyone, but on the internet who gave him 5.

And then, to make matters worse, after giving Sean some compliments and saying again how close it was, he doesn't even mention him when asked about who's next.

Love Sean or hate him, loved that fight or hated it, he deserves that rematch.

Sean had back to back losses against Alex and Cannonier. He then fought two un-ranked opponents, one in their second UFC fight who is now 1-2 .

When you trip and fall into a title shot you could not earn, then lose the title immediately, you do not get an instant rematch. Its absurd on its face.

Driccus is now 7-0 in the UFC with 5 finishes. He's going to get a new matchup that is more entertaining than that point fighting stinker. Sean is unlikely to get another title shot without being a fill in.

Well, he's kind of in a shitty position as far as exciting fights. The Adesanya fight is definitely a big one though but that one will catch flack for giving Adesanya an immediate titleshot after a loss and layoff. Giving Sean another one right now is unnecessary, and then you got a boring matchup like Cannonier.

To be fair, fighters often have a warped sense of what happened when they’re in there. For example, outside parties could see a nice combination landing while the fighter feels it was glancing blows that didn’t effect them at all. There’s a reason they usually have their corner telling them what the score is.

Also boo rematches, we have too many of them. They can each win at least one fight and have it come together again if it’s meant to be.

LOL
Like Aldo and Connor?

And it doesn't change that DDP is delusional. I was a fan. I bet him. But that was pathetic.
Was it really 'pathetic'? Rounds 4 & 5 were far from blowout rounds. And not calling out the guy you just beat, is how it should be unless it was an all out war, where the fight was so awesome you gotta run it back.....that wasn't this fight. You sound like an over emotional kind of guy. U cried at the end of 'The Lord of the Rings' didn't you???

Well said, and I think this is how it’s gonna be. Strickland will remain in the mix but he has little to no influence to acquire an immediate rematch for the title.

Strickland should take on khamzat next, assuming the ufc book Izzy vs DDP. Strickland cardio and pace might very well be enough and he’ll get a quick title shot by beating khamzat imo

I luv the smell of Post PPV Sherdog!!!

Is he more delusional than Sherdoggers crying that Sean was robbed? I don't think so.

DDP getting all the hate for winning but I don't see much pointed at Sean for how he fought. Also DDP just trying to push for the money fight while he can, he beats Izzy his name skyrockets, he beats/loses to Sean in a rematch that does nothing for him.

this fight is why draws exist but ofcouse the ufc need that NZ market. Sean didnt lose imo.

You might want to edit the OP because it makes you look bad. Almost no one gave Sean the 4th round so you acting outraged that specifically DDP said he won the 4th shows that you may not understand what you're watching.

He clearly won round 4 and I just rewatched the fight, the 5th round was a lot closer than I thought it was initially. Sean probably still took the 5th, but not by much at all
