Is Bo the biggest bust since Royce Alger??

So hurt that he popped right back up after the stoppage.

He wanted out and found it in that knee.

BTW - bo fans are more sensitive than ian garry fans from the responses the past few days.
Bo has fans?? How pathetic

I don't know who this Royce Alger is but Bum Nickal is comparable to Will Brooks.

Guy lost to a former 2 division champ. Doesn't make Bo a bust.

I was no Bo fan before and enjoyed seeing him lose, however it is just one fight. There are plenty of fighters who have had a bad fight and come back stronger. Bo needed something like this IMO, he hadn't experience deep water, now he can go fix holes. Will he be champ material who knows although doesn't look good now, but is just one loss, and people normally look bad in losses.

I don't like Bo, but I would hardly call him a bust yet.

Cejudo got smoked by DJ in their first fight, then lost a decision effectively killing his hype, at least momentarily.
He came back, beat DJ, and went on to have an all star career.

If Bo comes back and gets 2-3 impressive wins, then wins a title, no one will call him a bust.
Wins a title.... lol

A few Sher-Simps in here defending Bum Peso…

Listen fools, its not JUST that he LOST…its HOW BAD he looked in losing, how quickly he FOLDED and how poorly he reacted when he got hit.

Plus he talked like an all time great after looking very UN-impressive beating guys that were tailor made for him.

I think it's hilarious that almost no one in this thread is capable of talking about Royce Alger.
You mean cause so old? I dont remember too much about him other than standout wrestler with some hype. I remembered the Eugene Jackson fight but totally forgot Enson.

Got to agree with you chicken fried rice on this occasion….what anybody has seen from Boe to make them think he can “win a title” is beyond comprehension.

Yeah lol. I thought this was going to be the kind of old school threads I love, but everyone's just talking about Bo.

Really depends on on he takes this loss; however, the way he reacted to pressure and being the nail didn't look good. He folded as soon as the fight got hard.

I keep hearing about, well that knee was right on the button - well if that is true he would have been laid out much longer, he was right back up after taking that knee.

Anyhow, he has a lot to work on - probably needs to go back to crushing cans for a few fights then step up again and then we'll have the answer.

And he reminds me more of David Terrell - big hype, crushing guys that he was supposed to then ran into a hardened hammer in the form of Evan Tanner. Lost and never really recovered from it. The way that he reacted as soon as the fight got hard, he wanted out prior to the knee that dropped him, reminds me of Terrell.

Dave Terrell wad NOT supposed to beat Matt Lindland.

His loss to Tanner was mostly Tanners resiliency and cardio.

I personally wouldn't compare them.

Who volunteers to knee this guy in the liver and see how much it takes him to "quit the fight"?
All tough guys when it's someone else's ass on the line.

He's the biggest bust since Miesha Tate had her breast implants removed.

True, but in the end it won't matter if Bo goes on a tear and starts winning big fights.
Remember when hardcores thought Islam was a bust because he got KO'ed in his second UFC fight against a journeyman?
No one else does either now..... and RDR is a MUCH better fighter than Adriano Martins.
I'm not saying Bo is going to be Islam. All i"m saying is that it's way too early to tell. If Bo comes back with a vengeance no one will care.
Islam got caught with one punch at 24 years of age. Bo got embarrassed everywhere by RDR at 29, the window for Bo to be a title contender is closing very fast and his last two fights have not shown him to be adept at anything but wrestling.

If he had been progressing as he should, he would've KO'd Craig on the feet instead of outpointed him, and he certainly wouldn't have made RDR look like a Muay Thai savant.

Bo seems closer to a Rodolfo Vieira than a Chimaev is what I'm saying.

Bo got caught wit a knee, & will grow from teh experience. This over-emphasis on that happening is obviously due to the hype that was behind him, but these collegiate wrestlers know how to learn & come back. Their workload growing oop is engrained in them.

So lets not make definitive statements based on Bo'z 1st setback. Fair enough if it happenz again fairly soon.
