AMD Ryzen PC Revenue To Decline By 26% In 2022 Due To The Success of Intel’s 12th Gen CPUs, Reports Market Analyst
Article goes on to mention that AMD's sales are predicted to stabilize, and only see a 2% decline thanks to the launch of their upcoming generation in 2023, but desktop shipments as a whole are forecast to drop ~25% in 2023, and Intel is far less dependent on this revenue than AMD due to being so much better diversified.
are you posting from 2016? amd has a broader portfolio than intel.
Remember, Intel is "fucked". Any day now.
the day you posted this, intel's ceo threw a tantrum about not getting govbucks (chips act) and threatened to stall ohio fabs and move to europe. yeah, they're (still) fucked. their gameplan is STILL just begging for taxpayer money/bailouts... and delays/paper launches.
the 5000s are old as fuck now and on a dead(or deadish, rumours support may continue) socket. and yet... they're still somehow leading. this is actually better than most expectations (including mine).
that said, consumer PC isn't anywhere near the top of their focus, it's all hpc.
