Tech "intel's f-----"

As long as they adjust and don't follow blackberry's example of "Eh who cares, we own the business sector", they can recover.

Yep. Intel building yet another factory. This one $20bn. This in addition to the two new facilities in Arizona, and the one in the EU. Altogether we're talking about ~$100bn invested in new manufacturing.
Intel Reportedly Preparing to Build New Chip Factory in Ohio

Imagine how little one would have to understand about business to say a business doing this is "fucked". But ermagerd, stock buybacks! Certainly no successful companies with fantastic long-term prospects buyback stocks, right?
S&P 500 Buybacks Set A Record High

2021 setting the annual record for buybacks above 2018.
I would not be surprised if Ohio is offering huge tax break to move to Ohio I bet the race is on to get these companies to move into their state. The potential is thousands of jobs and economic growth in areas that are losing manufacturing jobs in automotive area. If it happens it would be a huge win for Ohio because Arizona and Nevada have been identified as potential areas to becoming Silicon Valley for manufacturing.

Intel going to do a presentation at a big chip conference where they are going to talk about a new architecture that is called "Bonanza Mining" not mining bonanza though I like that one better. A super high performance dedicated processor for mining Bitcoin though I don't know why Bitcoin because it requires ASICS like thousands of them to mine them even reasonably well. It seems maybe Intel solution may address this big issue or maybe it can mine other coins.

"
It was reported yesterday that Intel would be announcing its first Bitcoin crypto mining processor, called "Bonanza Mine", this weekend at the ISSCC digital conference. Now it is reported that Intel has acquired their first Bonanza Mine customer—crypto mining startup GRIID.

Crypto startup GRIID, preparing to go public on the NYSE for an estimated $3.3 billion, is Intel's first Bonanza Mine processor customer."

Intel Alchemist is a pretty good midlevel GPU vs the latest 3070 GPU in both general and raytrace performance. It's believed that the one being benchmarked is the highest end model so expect intel with their first generation to be targeting a price war with Nvidia and AMD at least for the time because this has never been an area Intel liked to play. Still holding it's own with the 3070 Ti is pretty good start.

That website has been banned even from the Intel subreddit, there are better sources to use.

Man, I always use them for quick comparisons, it's just easy to read/compare. What's the story between them and critics? Are they skewing results?

UB favors single core performance over multi core, which favors Intel. Anytime something doesn't show Ryzen as the greatest thing ever, their fanboys throw a shit fit.

LOL they were banned from the Intel sub, Nvidia, r/hardware.

It doesn't make someone a fanboy to point out they have an Intel bias and have dishonest methodology, GamersNexus and Hardware Unboxed have called them out on it.

It isn't GamersNexus and Hardware Unboxed going on Reddit calling people schills.

Is everyone that does not put AMD at the top a paid shill for Intel? LOL

No but the point was that table clearly shows the AMD Ryzen outperforming the intel chip at three different settings and yet the final bench score favors the intel. That’s asinine. Why even have the different setting scores then?

Pretty much and it's not like this was a recent development. The tech community has noticed this for a while.

it's strange how they're simultaneously doing awesome and begging rhe govt for $20B because they need it.

LMFAO, they have $35bn cash-on-hand.

They don't pay for shit they don't have to for the same reason rich sports owners get subsidies from cities to build new sports arenas. Because they're smart.
