Insufferable

Ain't that the truth, them are some facts, well said.
Not close to the same thing, but I'm half from Texas half from Alabama(yes I know I'm redneck white trash). If someone from either state said something to the effect of "You're not a real _____(from either state)", I would think,"that's a weird angle to go with, but ok". However, UFC is gonna UFC. I'm sure Israel is being pushed with this dumb angle behind the scenes. He just fucked it up as usual because he's already beyond socially awkward and seemed drunk last night.

You're cool, man, I grew up in the swamp/marshes. Lol, I get your point though.

I understand exactly where Adesanya is coming from in all this, but calling Du Plessis a "cracker" was completely uncalled for

How you say that then go train with Hooker, Volkanovski etc..

the only problem i had with it was when he said 'i manifested this result' lol thats some egotistical shit

No it isn’t racist at all. It’s only racist if he meant it in a racist way which no one can prove nor would it make sense to say that in front of a camera, he was clearly joking or make it look like he was telling Floyd what to do. Conor was not a slave owner nor was Floyd a slave so it doesn’t matter what is historical racist. Conor is Irish not American.

Guess what else is historically racist, breathing and blinking since slave owners did that too.

No because Izzy brought race into it and said the guy can’t be from Africa because his skin color

Dude, how can you be so reasonable in that second quote (which is exactly how I see it. The problem is not the N-word but rather Izzy saying he's not african because he's white) and then really believe that Conor saying "dance for me, boy! Dance for me, son!" to Floyd is not racist? I mean, you seem like a smart guy, can't you really see this? DDP saying "I'm from Africa but I ain't a brother of yours, son!" could be argued about if racist or not (I personally don't think he's that witty to come up with a line that quick in regards of trying to be racist but rather to belittle him) but the stuff Conor said? Come on, man!

Just because calling an African American, in America, "boy" can be construed as racist in America, doesn't mean the same goes for the world. Calling a black person "boy" in my country isn't racist.

America is not the world.

I'm not even american and I see where you're coming from and I totally agree but in this case I could totally see how people could claim racism on Conor's behalf.

Edit: and I don't live in the US, either.

It's either him or Peña.

But good lord did he come across as a maladapted manchild yesterday. He tries way, way too hard to sound cool and menacing but just makes a jackass out of himself.

Yesterday was the cringiest yet, and that is saying a lot.

Saying boy isn’t racist. It’s only racist if you’re a slave owner

After last night Izzy holds the title for the most insufferable UFC fighter on the entire roaster for me. Like a friend of mine said, Izzy always seems to be having an identity crisis, he's fake as fuck imo. Here's to DDP shutting that dude up.

Interesting side note: For people not in the know, Izzy had servants growing up. He actually had a "personal bathing servant". It all totally makes sense now imo, mystery solved.

They are cheap

It was disgusting behavior for sure. DDP'S quote did not warrant Izzy to pull that shit. I see no difference than any other fighter saying they are "Bringing the belt home"

The irony is that most all the people who are all upset and clutching their pearls about what Izzy said are the first ones to call people snowflakes for being offended by words and also more than likely they use the N word with the hard R on a daily basis.

<DirkMavs>

The worst part is him calling out DDP about identity literally while throwing around the n-word as a Nigerian Kiwi with no connection to the slave history in the States. The only person guilty of appropriation is Adesanya.

Pretty sure the n word predated the slave trade in the USA.

I could be wrong though.
