Opinion Indians keep flooding Canada

This is not an isolated incident either. I was formerly the manager of a mill and it was unbelievable on a much larger scale. They’d all lie and make totally fake resumes. They believe they can scam their way into jobs they have zero qualifications for. Some of them would even send the exact same resume between 3-4 of them with names changed. It’s insanity.

A lot of places pretty much discard any Indians’ resumes now which sucks for the good ones but yeah. They’ll even find crooked companies and buy their journeyman certification in various trades but they’re so dumb, they don’t realize you actually have to know the trade to do it. They pretty much dominate the trucking industry with license buying but it’s not as obvious to as many people there when they aren’t capable. Show up at a mill as a journeyman millwright who can’t turn a wrench and you’ll be gone before first break.
fuck man, i don't mean to laugh at the shit but..., fuck.

The fields I see them in a lot down here in the states are driving, either rideshare, delivery or trucking or the 7-11's/ am-pm's etc.., and I am aware that many of them work at places like Microsoft but of course those types of professions as well as the medical professions are not as visible as the ones most of us see them at. I also see a lot of Indian restaurants where they work.

My east Indian pal I had to try, repeat, try, to teach him to drive. He claimed he knew how to drive so I figured he'd be just needing a little help. Within five minutes it was clear as day that he'd never been behind a wheel in his life, or if he had, it wasn't much. After some close calls and near wrecks I had to give up. But, he did go on to learn to drive well enough to do it for uber/lyft and now he makes boque money driving a city bus. But he definitely wasn't upfront about driving and even today he'll try to say that "I only needed to know how to drive american" which I just don't press him on, I don't know if he's delusional or thinks i'm stupid but he says things like that, when I chastise the Indian actors on tv for whitening their skin, he will insist that they don't use any lighteners and that they are really that pale, i don't push it but it's like a little kid lying when he does that. Strange guy, at some point, i suppose we all have to overlook each others shortcomings.

But, he did manage to have the perserverance to go through a lot of failure and rejection (he failed the driving tests at least 4 times but he acts like he forgets that now) to get to that well paying job, kinda admirable.

A bit strange that they don't speak english. I've never met an indian who couldn't speak english.

I looked it up. A 2011 survey found 10% of Indians speak English, and a 2019 Oxford survey (probably more accurate) found 6%.

In India it's mostly the merchant caste and above who can speak English. You might think the Indian scammers who call you for example are desperate people, but to have been able to learn English means they had opportunities that a lot of their countrymen didn't.

I'm just telling you what our answer was. Even though India is an original home of martial arts, and they've had some great wrestlers in the past, they just aren't very physical. You have to eat protein and be physical to have strength. Most of their diet is high carb and even their bodies tend to lack any kind of muscle tone. =

Indian women's ass and calves almost universally lack shape and tone**, perhaps not coincidentally. They got that Meghan Markle shape to them.

In before I get called a racist white trash hillbilly by you idiots, I'm indian ethnicity born in canada.

Thanks to Trudeau allower a huge surge immigrants after covid, a good chunk of them being Indians. Canada has pretty much become a little india and let me tell you...indian immigrants are the worst

They abused the PR system by going to the fake scam colleges that print diplomas and got Permanent residency, came in on fake documents, overstay their visas and refuse to leave the country when it expires and don't assimilate, they are claiming fake asylum status when they aren't refugees and that wastes more canadian taxpayer dollars, and they aren't doctors or scientists, there low skill. Just working at Tim Hortons ( walk into any tim hortons in canada and you will see)

Never SEEN any indian doctors or nurses, the foreign doctors and nurses in canada are Arabic, Chinese, African, etc. They are the worst ones at assimilating, don't care about learning English.

They came in huge numbers and most of the biggest cities in canada looks like Mumbai. Toronto, Niagara falls, Brampton, Surrey etc.

Deportation process is a joke in this country, there's no ICE in canada hunting down Visa overstayers, they just send a letter in the mail telling them to leave the country and that's it. The customs and border agency called CBSA is really understaffed and the recruiting process takes 2-3 years to join (I was an applicant for them).

Thank you to the liberal voters. Elbows up
The real villains in this story are the fake scam colleges, and everyone promoting them.

Immigrants are marrying Canadian women. Its happening and you cant do anything about it.
I know you cant help yourself but lets keep my kid out of this.
Only the ugly ones we don't want though ..

That and a lot of other stuff, eating curry and spicy food that makes my nose run. It's as big a compromise to me as telling them to eat a cheeseburger, only they don't see it that way. It does cause issues because I know they won't do the same percentage of compromise for me. Feels disrespectful or rather, like they want everything their way, which, yes, bothers me. No relationship is all one way no matter how much people try to make it.

I don't do those and some people might have a problem with those things like taking their shoes off. Especially older people more set in their ways. And yes, sometimes, back when I did moves for people, going in and out of a house 50 times, it didn't matter whether they were american or whatever, that'sa pain in the ass.

People who won't eat food from other cultures are hillbillies, simple as that. It doesn't matter what colour you are. If you're an indian dude who refuses to eat anything other than indian food, you're a hillbilly.

I work with H1B's, and from what he tells me, the indians have a certain structure of families, essentially doctors and software developers, and then the rest. If you're not part of the upper two classes, you're looked down upon, kind of like how japanese look down on all other asians <lol>
This is 100% true. Its extreme classism. But that does change when they come to the west. If your a janitor at home they look down on you. If you send them photos that your a janitor in Canada they think you've made it.

Thankfully once they cut back on foreign students the cracks started to form pretty quickly for those schools. The gravey train has come to an end.

It's not what people do for a job. It's what they do before and after work. Like trainin

Eh, I work with alot of people from that part of the world and every single one of them has 2 jobs, a day job and a night job. Some of them study as well as work both jobs.

When would they train?

As for the physicality, maybe it's just my industry but we get some big Indians in. Some are shit, some are great. Pakistanis are the smallest I see. Sri lankans are pretty solid and into their rugby and Bangladeshis can bang.

Yeah, there’s some parts of their culture I respect for sure. I just wish they were more honest. They’ll do anything to succeed, even if it’s stupid as hell. There’s many who work their absolute nuts off and they get overshadowed by the lazy, entitled scammers. One of my good friends is an Indian Canadian and he has some extremely strong feelings on this.

Funny after sifting through resumes, that position i was talking about ended up getting filled by a young guy I knew from working the A&W drive thru. I passed on some experienced guys for him but I don’t regret it at all. I gave another guy a chance and so far, it’s looked great for me and this further proves my point that resumes don’t mean nearly as much as they should. He’s 21(?) and absolutely giving it his all every day. He may be very green but I guarantee you in 10 years he will be a superstar and he’s worth every penny I spend training him.

Before I went out on my own, I was the maintenance manager and later, the plant manager of a mill. I used to have to fight HR all the time on hiring until eventually they caved and let me handle all the interviews and decisions. I don’t take resumes near as seriously as many but Jesus Christ at least please don’t lie on it. I’ll give a dude who worked really hard at a drive thru window a chance if he can show me somehow that attitude. I’d like to think I’m a decent judge of character and references matter way more to me than experience generally

Well, I don't get why my buddy would lie over stuff that doesn't really matter as well as stuff that does. It's weird and I know he doesn't think I'm stupid. Strange shit, it definitely hurts our relationship in some ways, I haven't seen him in about a year over just confusion over cultural shit mainly.

Scamming is one thing, in my life, people have always been deceptive so I have a pretty low bar for expectations and I wouldn't even call the american way of doing things "scamming" all the time but it's always deceptive and it's a lot more machiavallian than perhaps my drunk native american friend lying to me or my east indian buddy lying to me.

As far as HR I could see how that's just a nightmare for everyone. Bad hires can sink a company and once you hire some idiot, it's not always that easy to fire them without getting sued. Makes it hard for everyone really, I gave up sending resumes some time ago but I also came to understand that it's not so easy from their end either.

yes, I've noticed that, just like almost cone shaped legs but I've also known an east indian woman who's not hindu and eats a typical american diet, she's never looked like that. I just assume it's all those empty carbs and lack of protein. My east indian buddy asked me what to do about the protein I told him eggs are the best source of protein, so now he thinks eating one egg every once in a while will turn him into The Rock.

His son is two years older than his sister and she was beating him in arm wrestling a couple years ago. I'm sure that's changed by now but I try to tell them, there are no ways around certain things, seem to have a hard time grasping some things.

I eat plenty of food from other cultures, I just hate spicy foods no matter what culture, it doesn't agree with me at all, I'll throw food away if it's got peppers or some sort of hot spices in it. Everything they eat seems to have it in it.

Being in seattle, there are no end to foods to try. I don't go out of my way to eat ethiopian or Indian or Thai but most of it I wouldn't object to, the spicy shit I just can't handle.

Yes, its ingrained. My buddy is from one of the upper castes and he hates Ghandi, calls him a motherfucker over ruining the caste system but it's still there. In fact, they had some sort of celebration in seattle that our town passed some silly anti caste rule here, which made no sense, we had no issues with anyone using castes in our city, maybe they did between themselves so I figured it was one of those things some lawmakers did to get on the news.

My east indian buddy also has it in for the professionals, he tells me the east indian doctors practicing here are scammers and no matter how much I'd tell him that you can't scam that in American, at least not very easily, he won't hear it. He was vehement that they were fake. The way they have a ranking system is fucked and really sad to me. I never did like stratification myself but it's everywhere we go in some form.

Thankfully once they cut back on foreign students the cracks started to form pretty quickly for those schools. The gravey train has come to an end.
damn colleges have fucked everyone. I was dumb enough to get a silly degree, one of the biggest financial mistakes I ever made. I had no excuse either, I've seen my parents not able to really get anywhere with their degrees so I knew what to expect. Difference was, my stepdad only had like 5 grand in loans to pay back.

I notice that they don't seem to have a problem framewise, the bone structure is big but they just don't have any physicality at all and it's not just strength, when I've dealt with them moving, they seemed really lacking in how to use their bodies too and I couldn't believe how weak they were, literally like a 12 year old girl. I'd guess it's just cultural though.

Ya know, they used to say white people had no rhythm and couldn't dance but we've seen them in the last few decades pick it up, alot of stuff is so cultural and if you don't grow up with some things you might never get them.
