I'm not attracted to "x" type person

Tall, blonde or has blue eyes. There obviously can be exceptions but no usually.

probably not. what about the parents that abuse their children, or kill them?

Those parents are mentally/emotionally troubled, and in most cases incapable of feeling "true" love, much less unconditional love. There're good and bad parents.

That works for the examples you used, but what about one like, "I am not attracted to Latinos or short people."

That person, your "soulmate" would never become short or Latino

how would you even know someone was "latino/latina"? there are people of hispanic descent who don't have hispanic names and/or look white-caucasian. if you had that mentality of not being attracted to "latino" people, then you met someone you thought was your soul mate, but later found out they have "latino" heritage, would that make you end the relationship with them?

and people become short all the time when they start getting older (usually around their 50's or 60's).

I agree OP. There definitely has to be some physical attraction of some sort imo.

What about anyone without a mental illness?

iunno.

obviously, not every case is the same.

i thought that's what "unconditional" was implying :icon_conf

what is "love"? i'm sure that by most definitions, even people who're deranged feel love for someone or something. they just have other problems which supersede what you would consider "normal".

How about "I would never date a woman who has a mustache and a dick"

TS, your friend must be sick

you're nitpicking, you can use whatever race you'd like. Use black or asian if you'd like, but you didn't really address the point at all.
