Crime Illegal US Border Crossings On Track For Lowest Levels In Nearly 60 Years

They should be armed predator drones IMO

I'd rather the CIA be cut out and kept in the dark from any kind of cartel surveillance or spec ops tbh, not conducting them. My faith and trust in that agency is zero; likely rife with compromised assets working against the nation and people they allegedly serve. We've already had the FBI tipping off other terrorist organizations (Tren de Aragua) in the United States on planned ICE raids. This shit is a fucking joke.

🙄

Who do you think the principled democrats are?
Well I’m pretty upset with them how they are rolling over to Trump so right now it’s hard for me to answer. I love AOC though, Crockett, Pete. I could probably name a bunch and I’m sure you disagree. I wasn’t looking for an argument was just curious if there were any you dig and I appreciate the response.

If you are going to call asylum applicants and tourist visa holders illegals then yeah, i supposed it is but that's not why one program was removed while the other wasn't.
I find generally it’s a big tent term lol.

I suspected something like this. I think I heard on a podcast some judges have a 100% approval on asylum and others have a vastly different rate.

They are part of the executive? Why are they called judges?

President doesn't has the authority to remove members of the Judiciary or Congress as they are separate powers.

It seems however that these people are working under the DOJ so part of the executive branch?

Who has "the power of the purse"? What are these clowns even doing aside from standing there with their mouths agape as the President takes extraordinary action and power into his own hands.

President Trump owns the Republican party and the Republican party controls Congress, what are they supposed to do? Congress is inefficient by design, getting hundreds of people to agree on something is more complicated than a single guy calling the shots.

Mitch McConnell found out during Obama years that a lot of Congress core working functions were based just on goodwill of its members which he promptly abused, then he lost the Republican party to Trump because they literally pick candidates by popular election (come on Mitch we know since Plato that's a bad idea), i guess he should read a little bit more about the dangers of a direct democracy system when it came to its own party.

I used to admire the US Congress growing up because it used to be that a Senator loyalty was

1.- Loyalty to its home State
2.- Loyalty to the Nation.
3.- Loyalty the institutions that make government.
4.- Loyalty to the party.

Now its all broken down, these people have first and foremost loyalty to Trump and they don't give a shit about the rest, the party is the party of Trump, the institutions are all corrupt, the nation speaks through its leader Trump, home States are meaningless now.

Its definitively something interesting to see, i never would had thought i would be alive in the time the US implodes. I guess most Americans don't care about foreign politics but i think the whole US-Russia aligment that we have seen recently its definitively not something i would had expected to see in my lifetime.

How far will it go though, Trump is old as fuck and there is no clear heir to him and usually these kind of regimes have big power shifts when the big guy kicks the bucket.

All I know is if anybody who wants to walk in unchecked isn’t allowed to just go wherever and commit any crime they want I’ll be very mad. We shouldn’t be checking who comes in at all and if a few murders have to happen so that don lemon doesn’t say I’m racist so be it

So, when it comes to national security, do you think it's a good thing a bunch of people had their need for clearance waived for 6 months, and then were let loose to root through the American people's personal information?

Hell No. And something like this is a far bigger concern than Elon or "Big Balls" taking out a Petco Rewards card with my shit. I have posts up and down that thread, it isn't difficult to be consistent.

Great Choice, @cottagecheesefan.

After his service in the Navy, Banks joined the United States Border Patrol (USBP) as an officer and served in various positions in over 25 years of experience. He held leadership positions in Texas, Arizona, and California, and was the USBP McAllen Station patrol agent in charge and the USBP Rio Grande Valley Sector executive officer and acting division chief. He later was the acting deputy chief of operations for the USBP headquarters in Washington, D.C..

Banks retired from the Border Patrol in January 2023, due to disagreements with the immigration policies of President Joe Biden. Shortly afterward, he was named by Texas Governor Greg Abbott as the state's first border czar on January 30, 2023. Abbott said that he hired Banks to "tap his expertise to deploy strategies that reduce illegal immigration and keep our community safe," and tasked him with helping build the border wall. He was an advisor to the governor for the border and assisted in Operation Lone Star, the state government's operation to control the U.S.–Mexico border.

On January 16, 2025, Banks was named by President-elect Donald Trump to be the Chief of the United States Border Patrol.
