I tried to think of the best word for the performance. I just looked on Google translate, it gives me a list of French words, which then give me back a list of English words.
So I'd say his opponent got bullied, manhandled, maltreated, punished, hectored, mutilated, maimed, mangled, disabled, crushed, overwritten, smashed, mashed, squashed, ran over, shredded, teared, jagged, hit, stroke, knocked, beaten, impacted, punched, lacerated, hammered, exhausted, flayed (lmao), panned, tired, frazzled.
And finally mauled.
Lmao, that’s one way to describe a fight<45>

Looks like Bulaid tripped a few times. I noticed that live after Fayoumi landed a good lowkick, you can even see one stumble in this finishing sequence too. Also, after the fight I heard him complain about his knee in Dutch, so he probably felt one of those kicks. Thankfully it didn’t influence the fight

Well that was quick <{titihmm}>

Holy shit!

Thanks to you 2 guys for keeping me updated, I don't really keep up with MMA right now so it's a great help <RomeroSalute>

Speaking of not keeping up, I thought "Bulaid the Blade" was tight with Bellator even since he got hooked on MMA?
According to Tapology, he was supposed to get his 4th Bellator fight against fellow Bellator specialist Weber "the Silverback" Almeida, but the bout got cancelled, and now he's left the promotion?

That's a shame, he was getting handled pretty well there, raised up slow against fellow kicboxers/muay thai guys with 0-0 MMA records, then fought to a draw against French MMArtist Georges Sasu (first time I'd watch Bulaid live IIRC? As in; real time, not there in person)
It was a closer fight than the others, and Georges is more well-rounded than the other 2, so it was promising for Ilias.

Plus, in the post fight interview, when a journalist asked Ilias if he hoped he would fight a pure grappler next instead of another striker oriented guy, Bulaid was talking about fighting everyone, working hard on his wrestling & BJJ all the time, and still training with Melvin Manhoef for his striking (who was his cornerman for that fight)

So yeah, it was good to see him win another stand up war, but since I don't know who else fights in his weight class in his new org, I can't really hope for a specific opponent next.
Just happy that a Euro kickboxer is doing well in MMA {<Mcgoat}

Couldn't find any info at a quick glance that mentioned why he left Bellator.

Mayhap @BoxerMaurits can shine some light?

No problem bud.
And yeah, Bulaid left Bellator because the chances of him getting to the UFC are better when he’s a free agent (instead of being tied to a Bellator contract).
He always was in good relationship with them for all I know
