but lost a round on every judges card with one of them having him lost 2 of the 3.. so every second is ridiculousKhamzat broke his wrist in the first and still dominated every second of every round.

i mean i get what you're saying but he did just try to take down the guy with the best TDD in the history of the sport and it ended up being what won him the fight so i dunno
I was kind of suggesting that maybe against a different opponent he wouldn't gas so badly from wrestling in early rounds. Usman has great TDDI agree and that is impressive but then again, he blew his load to take him down. He went 110% to wrestle and take him down and did practically no damage to Usman. Which resulted in him having nothing left in the tank at the start of 2nd round. Perhaps this has to do with experience. Look at his match against burns, same thing. Shows that his fight IQ and maturity needs work.
And Edwards took Usman down in their fight as well, a fighter not known for his grappling
All I'm saying is this is an issue that he needs to work on. Imagine somebody taking him to the deep waters and he finds himself in the championship rounds with no zero left in the tank (he practically had zero in the tank after the 1st round)
Was this head spike discussed by the commentators during the fight? If the REF considered this as illegal, what would the consequence be? 1 point deduction? and get the position back?He did have that illegal head spike RNC escape

I just watched 3rd round and here at sherdog theybwere saying usman was striking but in 30 seconds I saw I saw swings to nowhere and jabs punching air or hiting guard handThe man ALSO took a completely different and more dangerous opponent on 12 days notice. I'm sure his initial gameplay was completely scrapped and they had to come up with something on the fly. For him to overcome that and win is pretty impressive. You guys think because Usman has dropped his last 2, he is old, shot and was never your friend. He was beating Leon in the first fight until the Hail Mary kick. And is arguably the welterweight goat. So give Khamzat some credit. If you expected Usman to be a walk in the park, your IQ is around room temperature.
Size difference. This guys derailment is gonna be enjoyable. His fans are intolerableHe dominated usman at his biggest strength and made the statistically greatest defensive wrestler in ufc history look like a brawler with poor wrestling D
No, it didn't.the first round was impressive, i'll give you that. but all he did was maintain position, no real great strikes, a lot of attempts at the sub, but ultimately nothing. the second round i thought usman won, landed the better strikes/punches most definitely. the third round kamzhat got the takedown, but couldn't maintain it, didn't pass half guard, didn't land any hellacious bombs, usman gets up, and then lands the best shots of the only meaningful exchange in the third round, another win for USman IMO. And he did it all against a full fight camp kamzhat, while fighting on short notice, going up in weight, against a "B00geyman." Kamzhat may have won, but he didnt look like the absolute killer, he beat a short notice Usman, and now gets a MW title shot? Kamzhats stock definitely dropped tonight. May not be by a lot, but he should have smoked Usman on paper. Like how Islam did.
Yes.No, it didn't.
He beat an ATG who 18 months ago was still on course for potentially surpassing GSP. The way he wrestlefucked Usman in the first round was pretty fucking crazy and surreal.
His cardio is his kryptonite but most guys at MW are not gonna survive long enough for it to matter anyway.
you do realize usman is 1. a lifetime WW and 2. short notice?
for some reason, they never acknowledge the short notice. it is very strange.you do realize usman is 1. a lifetime WW and 2. short notice?
