If NFL is A level athleticism

So they both run a sub 10 second 100m?

I have no idea, but they’ve both been clocked at a higher top speed than the NFL player you mentioned.

It’s quite likely that they haven’t timed a 100m sprint since their school days.

The retard claim is completely valid for you son, because you consistently demonstrate a lack of reading comprehension.

I’ve never stated that the US are only good at sports that only the US compete in - I said they’re not spectacular at producing Olympic gold medalists on a per capita basis - and you aren’t.

I’m happy to use the Olympics as a barometer of ‘A level athleticism’ if you like, and the figures don’t lie. The US simply isn’t as efficient as producing A-level athletes as
a significant number of other nations. That is simply a fact son, it isn’t something contentious or debatable.

But you’ve got other sports to focus on (like all other countries), and NFL players are faster (until they come up against real footballers - I notice nobody has taken on that point), and some mumbo jumbo about college places.

Excuses are like bitches lad, and you do an awful lot of bitchin’

It's fine, you keep throwing insults, I don't need them. ;)

And I quote

More people in the US play real football than American Fatball. With these higher participation rates, why don’t the US dominate football? Because it’s a global sport. It’s easy to look successful at something when you’re the only one actually doing it.

I don't need excuses for why The U.S. has won the most gold medals and medals in general. That's not debatable. That is an objective fact. Trying to determine why the U.S. has been the most successful, that my friend is debatable.

It’s also worth pointing out that obviously the cardiovascular demands of guys playing in wide positions in real football are much heavier than any position in American football, covering an approximate average of 12km per game.

Head in the sand son, head in the sand.

I stand by my comment - only a retard would ignore the size of a population when looking at a country’s efficiency at producing top level athletes.

Do you have any actual numbers on their speed?

As I said, they’re doing this while covering about 12km per game on average, while dribbling a football. It’s simply outstanding.

The most telling thing here is how many are actually surprised by the fact that real footballers fucking rapid <45>

There is nothing to refute lad. You literally haven’t made a valid point that I’ve seen yet.

A per capita analysis is simply a more valid way of examining the efficiency of a country of producing Olympic gold calibre athletes than wilfully ignoring population statistics.

Tyreek Hill's best 100m would be enough to qualify for most olympics.

Hill is faster.

Bale and Robben are not this fast.

Except, in reality, as I’ve demonstrated, he isn’t.

Genuine question - what is it with people being presented facts here a willfully ignoring them?

What's with people who present absolute proof of a statement (I did it with Tyreek Hill) with people who provide a link with what is not a proven time as a counter?

Can't you just admit you're wrong when you're wrong?

Tyreek Hill top speed - 36.4km/h

Arken Robben top speed - 37km/h

Arjen Robben isn’t considered to be the fastest footballer, is in his 30’s, clocked that speed while covering a distance greater than Hill runs in an entire season, and was dribbling a ball with his feet.

So no actual measured speed. Got it.

John Ross for the Cincinatti Bengals actually matched Usain Bolts 40 time with a 4.22. Bo Jackson beat Usain Bolts 40 time with 4.13. & Jakeem Grant ran a 4.10 in college. Actual measured times.

You asked me which footballer was faster than Tyreek Hill. I gave you two footballers who have clocked higher top speeds.

What the fuck do you want son?

It ain’t my fault you didn’t expect that and have since moved to looking at time over distance, is it?

sake man

Both speeds were clocked you utter spastic <45>

I’ll give you guys a little hint: the difference in speed between Hill and Bale is fairly negligible. They’re both extremely fast individuals, and in a straight race environment it could well be a photo finish.

What is telling, is how much that simple fact surprises you. You’ve been led to believe that nobody can match these American Fatball athletes, and the disbelief that plenty of others actually can is clear to see.

What i'm saying is no pro diveball player has cracked 10 seconds in the 100m, to which you still haven't given any real proof.

Are Robben and Bale extremely fast? Yes. Are they as fast or faster than Tyreek Hill? No.

But that’s what you’re saying now - not what you originally said.

My original ‘proof’ was in reference to your original point, as you would expect.

Real footballers don’t run 100m times or 40 yard dash times, so I’ve no idea what you expect me to provide.

I’ve looked at the only comparable measure I could fine - top speed - and given you two names faster than Hill.
